DESPITE the trio of AFLW Academy members missing and another couple still out with injury, there were plenty of West Australian State Academy members taking to the field for Round 6 in the WAFL Women’s competition. AFTER a week off to refresh, the WAFL Women’s players return to action in an extended early start to Round 6. It all kicks off tomorrow night at Pentanet Stadium between the top two sides in West Perth and Claremont, before the following three games are played over the following two days.

EAST Fremantle have gone outright top in the 2022 West Australian Football League (WAFL) Women’s competition after defeating Peel Thunder in an entertaining contest. In other results, Claremont piled on more pain to newcomers West Perth, whilst Swan Districts made it back-to-back wins, defeating Subiaco in the final game of Round 4.
