ANOTHER weekend has arrived, which means more VFLW action for fans to enjoy. There’s six entertaining matches on the cards for fans to enjoy, so let’s see what’s in store this weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Geelong is certainly making the most of an early run of home games, and is currently undefeated and one of the teams to beat. The Saints on the other hand did have a slip up against Carlton, but have otherwise had a good season so far. They come into this match off a comfortable win over the Bulldogs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last time these two sides met was actually the semi-final last season, and it was the Cats who got the win that particular afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What vastly different seasons these two sides are having. Casey is one of the teams to beat, they sit undefeated and are coming off an overall pretty dominant win over North.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Bulldogs on the other hand are having quite the opposite kind of season, and they currently sit in last with no wins on the board. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Bulldogs did actually win the last time these two sides met, but considering all that has happened for both sides since then, that match may not be the best form guide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Williamstown certainly do not have an easy task this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Seagulls come up against an Essendon side who is arguably the team to beat so far this season, and have looked so dominant. The Bombers’ forwardline is particularly daunting, so Williamstown’s defenders will certainly have their work cut out for them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last time these two teams met it was mid season last year, and it was a comfortable win to the Bombers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both these sides sit at two wins and one loss, so this has the potential to be a more even contest than it was in previous season. Last time these two sides met it was a 15-point win to Collingwood, but this season has already proven that Collingwood is not the indestructible team the Pies once were. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This one also has the potential to be a very tight encounter, with both sides pencilling this clash in as a potential win. Despite some heavy losses, the Falcons have shown glimpses this season and have already got a win on the board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That is a better position than their opponents find themselves in, who are still winless and are coming off a frustrating loss to Casey. Recent history is also in favour of the Falcons, who beat North last time these two sides met for their only win last season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both these sides are coming off frustrating losses, so will be keen to get back on the winner’s list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Especially Port Melbourne, who will be particularly frustrated with the way their season has started. They were looking to emulate then improve on the way they started last season, but that certainly has not come to fruition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
