ANOTHER weekend, another round of VFLW action for all to enjoy, and another chance for some AFLW stars to prove themselves and return to the AFLW. Check out how they all went below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the Southern Saints\u2019 shock win over Geelong, there were a couple of AFLW Saints in the lineup trying to stake their claim for a return to the AFLW. Alana Woodward<\/a> saw plenty of the ball with 24 touches, two marks, seven tackles and four clearances to her name. Tahlia Meyer<\/a> had 10 touches, three marks, three tackles and a clearance, while Renee Saulitis<\/a> had 12 touches, four marks and two tackles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile there were plenty of AFLW Cats lining up for their VFLW side at the weekend. Ruck Rene Caris<\/a> had 16 touches, two marks, a clearance and a tackle, as well as 23 hit outs. Danielle Higgins<\/a> had 10 touches, three marks and a tackle, while Georgia Clarke<\/a> had 15 touches, two marks and five tackles. Stephanie Williams<\/a> had the quietest game of all her Cats AFLW teammates, with only the seven disposals and one tackle. Zali Friswell<\/a> had 12 touches and seven tackles, while Carly Remmos<\/a> had 14 touches, one mark and eight tackles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Casey had another good win on the weekend, this time over the Bulldogs. There were four AFLW Dees in the lineup. Brenna Tarrant<\/a> had a great game, got plenty of the ball and made her case for a return to the AFLW side. She finished with 32 touches, three marks, five tackles and a whopping 11 clearances. Lauren Magee<\/a> also got plenty of the ball and made her case for a return to the AFLW side. She finished with 21 touches, as well as three marks, five tackles and four clearances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Krstel Petrevski<\/a> kicked a goal, as well as had 18 disposals, six tackles, four clearances and a mark. Alison Brown<\/a> had 20 touches, three marks, two tackles and a clearance. For the Bulldogs, Hannah Scott<\/a> had 13 touches, two tackles, a mark and a clearance, while Jemima Woods<\/a> had 13 touches, three marks, a tackle and a clearance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In Collingwood’s loss to Hawthorn, their sole AFLW player Imogen Barnett<\/a> had another quiet game, finishing with only the five touches, five tackles, two hit outs and a clearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In North Melbourne’s loss to Darebin, ad plenty of the ball, with 27 touches, 10 marks, two tackles and a clearance. Brittany Gibson<\/a> however finished with only the five touches and two marks. Tess Craven<\/a> finished with 14 touches, two marks and three tackles, while Perri King<\/a> had 12 touches, two marks, two clearances and nine tackles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In Port Melbourne’s win over Carlton, Ingrid Houtsma<\/a> had 13 touches, two clearances, a mark and a tackle, while Stella Reid<\/a> had 12 touches, three marks and three tackles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For the Blues, Lauren Brazzale<\/a> had only the three touches, four tackles and a clearance, while Annie Lee<\/a> had 11 touches and three tackles. Charlotte Hammans<\/a> kicked a goal, while also having 10 touches, three tackles and a mark, while Imogen Milford<\/a> had five disposals, eight tackles and a hitout.
