THE NAB League Girls has a new leader in disposals, marks and tackles after the latest weekend of action, all of which are Murray Bushrangers star Zarlie Goldsworthy<\/strong>. There were plenty more players who also rose to the occasion in Round 9, find out who as we take a look at all of this week\u2019s stats leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With plenty of quality Victorian players out with representative commitments this week, Goldsworthy put in another dominant shift as Murray edged past Gippsland. The top-ager had a round-high 25 kicks among her 27 touches, with her well-rounded performance now seeing her lead the league for overall disposals, kicks, marks, tackles and inside 50s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She only just trailed the top ball winners for Round 9 – Greater Western Victoria (GWV) skipper Lilli Condon<\/strong> and Eastern Ranges over-ager Isabelle Khoury<\/strong> – as both players notched 31 disposals. While Goldsworthy racked up the most kicks, it was Gippsland Power pocket rocket Sunday Brisbane<\/strong> who dished out more handballs than anyone else – 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was all Tasmania on the goal front, with two Devils snagging four majors in their side’s 106-point win over Bendigo. Georgia Clark<\/strong> and Shania Saward<\/strong> were the players in question, with Clarke’s eight scoring shots only outdone by teammate Bellah Parker<\/strong>, who registered nine (3.6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a true display of her strengths, Clark also topped the charts for marks this week. Along with Northern Knights over-ager Ella Smallacombe<\/strong>, the talented forward clunked nine grabs in what was a rather complete tall forward’s game. Also competing well aerially was Kalani Scoullar<\/strong>, who returned this week with 26 hitouts for GWV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2006-born Bendigo prospect Lucia Painter<\/strong> was certainly kept busy in defence, and it showed on the stats sheet as she set a new record for rebound 50s, 16. At the other end of the ground, another gun under-ager in Lou-Lou Field <\/strong>shared top spot for inside 50s with Pia Staltari<\/strong>, as both players notched seven. Rounding out this weeks list is Field’s teammate Akima Manoah<\/strong>, who laid a whopping 14 tackles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
