IT is now in the back end of the 2022 VFL Women’s season, and for many teams their attention will now turn towards ensuring they are one of the last six teams standing and will play finals this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Darebin is on a fine run of form at the moment, and are every chance to keep that going this week against a North side who has struggled for much of the season thus far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Falcons do have a few key outs this week though, which will help North\u2019s chances. Both Nicole Callinan<\/a> and Angelica Gogos<\/a> are out with injury this week, who are huge outs from that Darebin midfield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n North also regains some of its AFLW players back this week, with Tess Craven<\/a> and Alexia Hamilton<\/a> joining the likes of Brittany Gibson<\/a> and Ella Maurer<\/a> in the side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n This is a potentially intriguing clash. The Hawks have had a good season thus far, only dropping their Round 1 game and currently sit third on the ladder. The Saints however have been a little bit more inconsistent this season, so it is hard to get a real gage as to where they sit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Hawks do have some big outs that may play a factor. Kristy Stratton<\/a> and Ainslie Kemp<\/a> are both out, but they do get Tegan Cunningham<\/a> back this week, so that is a big in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Geelong bounced back from a losing run in emphatic fashion last week, comfortably defeating the Dogs. On the flipside Collingwood\u2019s inaccuracy really cost them against the Dees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Geelong side is stacked with AFLW talent again, including one very notable inclusion \u2013 Chloe Scheer<\/a>. Collingwood on the other hand have not stacked their side as much with AFLW talent so will be relying more on their VFLW talent to get the job done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n This one has the potential to be a bloodbath, but also has the potential to be a bit of a surprise. Carlton have pushed top sides this season, but have also had shockers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Essendon on the other hand, have been one of the premiership favourites for a number of weeks now and have had a dominant season. However, they do have some huge outs this week, including Danielle Marshall<\/a>, Cecilia McIntosh<\/a> and Simone Nalder<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n If there was any week that Williamstown would want to face the Dees, it is this one. Not only is the game at their home ground, but because of the AFLW Grand Final, no AFLW listed Dees will feature in the match. The Dees do still have the likes of Tahlia Fellows<\/a>, Alison Dowler<\/a> and Cara McCrossan<\/a>, so it will be up to the likes of Lori Stepnell<\/a>, Bridie Kennedy<\/a> and Erin Meade<\/a> to ensure they are kept quiet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The battle of the cellar dwellers sees Port Melbourne finally get a home game, this time against the Bulldogs. Both sides will be desperate to see their seasons turn around and fast, with only the one win between the two sides combined to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Expect this to be a fairly even contest, free of much AFLW influence \u2013 Sarah Dargan<\/a> will be the only AFLW listed player on the park tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\nHawthorn vs Southern Saints
