THE AFLW Debut season focus is back for season 7, where we take a look at some of the better player performances from those who make their debut in this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Friday night at the MCG, the Dees held on for a narrow win over the Kangaroos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the victorious Dees Maeve Chaplin<\/a> had ten touches, two marks and two tackles, but did not have as much of an influence on the game as she had in her debut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile for the Kangaroos, someone who did have a good game was Erika O\u2019Shea<\/a>, who finished with 11 touches, three marks and four tackles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Over in Adelaide, Rylie Wilcox<\/a> (15 touches, four marks and a tackle) and Heidi Woodley<\/a> (13 touches, three marks and five tackles) helped the Western Bulldogs go 2-0 with a win over Port Adelaide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile for the losing Port Adelaide Alex Ballard<\/a> (15 disposals, four marks and a tackle), Abbey Dowrick<\/a> (11 disposals, seven tackles and a mark) and Hannah Ewings<\/a> (11 disposals, seven tackles and a mark) all had solid performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile over in Perth, Megan Kauffman<\/a> had another good game despite her Fremantle side losing again. She finished with 10 touches, six tackles and a mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Over at ETU Stadium on Sunday, Carlton got on the winners list with a narrow win over the Bombers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For the victorious Blues, Keeley Skepper<\/a> had an excellent debut, finishing with 14 touches, four marks, two tackles and a goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile for the Bombers Paige Scott<\/a> had 11 touches, two marks and a goal, while Stephanie Wales<\/a> did not touch the ball too much but did lead the way for her team in the hit out department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Over at Victoria Park the Pies came back from a fast Swans start to take the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For the victorious Pies, Imogen Evans<\/a> finished with 14 touches, five marks and three tackles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile for the Swans skipper Lauren Szigeti<\/a> finished with 10 touches, five tackles and a mark, while Aimee Whelan<\/a> finished with 13 touches, six tackles and a mark. Molly Eastman<\/a> finished with 13 touches, four marks and a whopping ten tackles, while Cynthia Hamilton<\/a> (12 touches, four marks and two tackles) and Ella Heads<\/a> (10 touches, two marks and six tackles) both had solid games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Over at Box Hill City Oval, the Saints kept their undefeated start to the season intact with a win over Hawthorn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For the Saints Hannah Stuart<\/a> had a stellar game, finishing with 13 disposals, four tackles and two marks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile for the Hawks Catherine Brown<\/a> (10 disposals, two marks), Mackenzie Eardley<\/a> (11 touches, three tackles and a mark), Jasmine Fleming<\/a> (10 touches, four tackles and a mark) and Lucy Wales<\/a> (12 touches, three tackles, 14 hit outs and a mark) all had solid games, while Tamara Smith<\/a> had a great game, finishing with 16 touches, three marks and six tackles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The final game of the weekend was in the Sunshine State, and saw the Suns take care of the Eagles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For the Suns Jasmyn Smith<\/a> may have only had the nine touches but did land three tackles and a mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile for West Coast Ella Roberts<\/a> only had the nine touches, but did land four marks and three tackles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n
