{"id":123074,"date":"2022-12-16T13:10:15","date_gmt":"2022-12-16T03:10:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/?p=123074"},"modified":"2022-12-16T13:10:15","modified_gmt":"2022-12-16T03:10:15","slug":"2023-vflw-key-dates-revealed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/2022\/12\/16\/2023-vflw-key-dates-revealed\/","title":{"rendered":"2023 VFLW key dates revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>THERE are now more women\u2019s footy dates to jot down in next year&#8217;s calendar, with the AFL announcing the key dates for the 2023 VFLW season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The upcoming campaign will begin in March, on the weekend of the 25th and 26th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is later than the 2022 season started, and with the AFLW season start time shifted to August again in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next year&#8217;s VFLW season will run for 14 rounds before finals, with one competition bye round scheduled for the weekend of the King\u2019s Birthday, which begins on June 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be 12 teams in next year\u2019s VFLW season.
