THE AFLW Trade Period wrapped up for 2023 yesterday, with plenty of familiar faces changing clubs over the last 10 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you missed anything that went down during the Trade Period, here is a recap of the entire period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first trade of the entire period was a big one, and involved plenty of well known faces moving between Collingwood, North Melbourne and St Kilda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jaimee Lambert<\/a>, Stephanie Chiocci<\/a> and pick 31 in the upcoming Supplementary Draft went from Collingwood to St Kilda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In return, Collingwood got Tarni White<\/a> from St Kilda as well as both Grace Campbell<\/a> and pick 15 from North Melbourne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n North Melbourne in return picked up Kate Shierlaw<\/a> from the Saints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n One trade that did not involve multiple way trades was that of former Tiger turned Bomber Kodi Jacques<\/a>. The small forward was simply traded to Essendon in return for the Bombers\u2019 second round selection in the upcoming Supplementary Draft (which is currently pick 27).<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The second mega trade of the 2023 Trade Period involved the Saints again, but this time it was Carlton and Richmond who were also involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n St Kilda sent Caitlin Greiser<\/a> to Richmond, the Blues sent Natalie Plane<\/a> to St Kilda and Harriet Cordner<\/a> got traded to Carlton. Richmond also sent its pick 14 to the Saints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n In one of the simpler trades of the period, Richmond and Gold Coast swapped Maddy Brancatisano<\/a> and Courtney Jones<\/a>, with no picks needed to complete the trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Power and Cats had a pretty simple trade, sending Kate Surman<\/a> and pick 12 to the Cattery and Madeline Keryk<\/a> to Alberton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Kangaroos and Hawks also had a pretty simple trade, swapping Eliza Shannon<\/a> and pick 40 for pick 33.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Arguably the biggest trade in AFLW history saw Gold Coast, St Kilda, Brisbane, Collingwood and North Melbourne all involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here is what each of the clubs got in the deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gold Coast \u2013 Pick 6, Jordan Membrey<\/a>, Clara Fitzpatrick<\/a> and Ella Maurer<\/a> for Ellie Hampson<\/a> and Serene Watson<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n St Kilda \u2013 Jesse Wardlaw<\/a> and Serene Watson for pick 6, pick 14, pick 31 and Clara Fitzpatrick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Brisbane \u2013 Ellie Hampson and pick 40 for Jesse Wardlaw and Lucinda Pullar<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Collingwood \u2013 Pick 14 for Jordan Membrey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n North Melbourne \u2013 Pick 31 and Lucinda Pullar for pick 40 and Ella Maurer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Carlton quick Brooke Walker<\/a> has found a new home, heading off to Essendon in exchange for pick 9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fremantle youngster Amy Franklin<\/a> will now call cross-state rival West Coast home, after she was traded to the Eagles in exchange for picks 3 and 21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Molly Eastman<\/a> is now a Tiger, with the former Swan returning to her home state in exchange for Richmond\u2019s second round pick, which is currently 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Laura Gardiner<\/a> is now a Swan, after the former Cat was traded to the Harbor City for pick number one in the upcoming Supplementary Draft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The two Adelaide clubs have swapped young star Sarah Goodwin<\/a> for rookie Jasmine Simmons<\/a>, with Adelaide\u2019s Round One pick (currently number 16) and round two pick (pick 34) also heading to Alberton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Former Giant Jess Allan<\/a> has been traded back to the Adelaide Crows, and will once again line up alongside sister Sarah<\/a> in 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In return GWS received pick 52. <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n One last final trade came close to the deadline, and it was now former Dog Nell Morris-Dalton<\/a> being traded to Collingwood for the Round 1 pick it got from North Melbourne (currently number 15).<\/p>\n\n\n\nKodi Jacques<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
