BOTTOM-AGE stars Josh Smillie<\/a> and Jagga Smith<\/a> are climbing the Rookie Me Central Medal leaderboard after looking a level above in their Round 12 outings. While absent for the weekend’s play, both midfielders have improved their positions since our last update<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smillie is now clear in second spot, just four points off runaway leader Colby McKercher<\/a> after his best afield outing against Geelong on July 2. On the same day, Smith also collected five votes in a win over Western to put him level with Darcy Wilson<\/a> at equal-fourth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahead of the latter pair is top 10 prospect Zane Duursma<\/a>, rounding out an uber-talented podium. The top 10 charts are again extended to 11 names this time around, with four players tied for equal-eighth on a respectable 16 votes each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Essendon Next Generation Academy member Ryan Eyre<\/a> is among them and takes the lead as Calder’s top poller. Richmond father-son candidate Charlie Naish<\/a> did the same for Northern, as did Player of the Week Cooper Hynes<\/a> for Dandenong, though both remain a couple of votes off the leading pack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
