AFTER releasing the Round 1 schedule earlier this week, the AFL has now confirmed the entire Coates Talent League fixture for season 2024 – across both the boys and girls competitions. Once again, 12 Victorian regions will participate full-time alongside Tasmania Devils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both competitions will also feature the five Northern Academies – Greater Western Sydney Giants and Sydney Swans (NSW-ACT), Brisbane Lions and Gold Coast Suns (Queensland), and the Northern Territory Thunder. They will play from Rounds 3-8 in the boys, and 3-9 in the girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community breaks will continue to be implemented throughout both seasons to allow players to compete in local, school, and representative football outside of their Coates Talent League commitments. The hiatuses also allow opportunities for athletes to advance their studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with the full release of Under 18 fixtures, the AFL has confirmed the setup for its Under 16 program. All 12 Victorian boys and girls regions will play two matches each between March and April, forming the selection process for this year’s National Development Championships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All matches will be streamed live via the Coates Talent League app, barring one game per week which is broadcasted on Kommunity TV. Rookie Me Central<\/em> will publish Scouting Notes on the prominent players from every home-and-away and finals fixture across both Under 18 competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
