IT is another Saturday bonanza today in the VFLW this weekend as all seven games are slated for today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A week ago this game looked very different on paper. But, after the Bulldogs got comfortably beaten by the Swans and the Bombers picked up their first win of the year, momentum coming into this game has flipped camps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Bulldogs gain back some handy youth in Tannah Hurst<\/a> and Jaime Henry<\/a>, but do lose Tallia Pulcino<\/a> from the side. Meanwhile for the Bombers, they gain some handy talent back in Marnie Robinson<\/a> and Georgia Nanscawen<\/a>, but do lose a number of important AFLW-listed players, including Lily-Rose Williamson<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Box Hill passed a test last week, proving that without Hawthorn\u2019s top AFLW midfielders it could still get the job done. This week the Hawks face a Williamstown side who picked up its first loss of the season last week, and will be looking to establish some consistency in its season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Hawks have made four changes to last week\u2019s side, bringing in the likes of Ellie McLinden<\/a> and Jessica Cox<\/a> – who returns from an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury – while Stella Bridgewater<\/a> is one of two inclusions for the Seagulls but they do lose Camryn Tyrrell<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Two of the oldest rivals in the code, it is always intense when these two clubs meet. They are also both coming off losses, which will just add to the intensity with which this match is played at.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Collingwood for their part have made five changes, including crucially welcoming back Ava Campbell<\/a>, Carly Remmos<\/a> and Kasey Lennox<\/a>. On the flipside, Carlton has made six changes, bringing in some young stars like Isla Baldwin<\/a> and Mel Staunton<\/a>, but losing key AFLW listed players like Keeley Sherar<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Much like other matches this weekend, this clash looked very different on paper just a week ago. Casey is finally on the board this season, and will be looking to maintain that momentum against the competition frontrunners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Casey has some big names in this week, including Tahlia Gillard<\/a> and Alyssa Bannan<\/a>, while Port Melbourne gains Isobel Hartog<\/a>, but crucially lose Eilish Sheerin<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Results last round have shaken up the expectations of this match. The Saints are now reeling after a shock loss to Geelong, while the Giants are up an about after an impressive return to the VFLW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Giants have a few big names in this week, including AFLW listed trio Haneen Zreika<\/a>, Claire Ransom<\/a> and Courtney Murphy<\/a>, while the Saints gain back Deanna Jolliffe<\/a>, but crucially lose Evangeli Nikolitsis<\/a> to injury for at least the next few months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n A nice scenic drive awaits the Cats and Falcons this week, and Geelong in particular come into this clash with a lot more of a spring in their step after picking up their first win last week. Darebin on the other hand will be frustrated with how things went last week against the Bombers and looking to rectify some of those issues and finally break that winless drought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Cats gain back some young stars in Lily Jordan<\/a> and Johanna Sunderland<\/a> back this week, but do lose Jamilla Cranny<\/a>. The Falcons for their part do have a big inclusion this week, with Sally Lynch<\/a> finally back after recovering from some concussion issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Swans sure did make quite the entrance into the VFLW last week, and will be looking to continue that kind of momentum this week. They face a North Melbourne side who will no doubt be hurting after copping their first loss of 2024 last week, and will be working hard to ensure that loss count stays at one at least one more week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Swans again have some big inclusions this week, highlighted by Chloe Molloy<\/a> and Sofia Hurley<\/a>, while the Roos have made two changes of their own, bringing in Annaleise Xanthos<\/a> and new Irish recruit Grainne McLaughlin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\nBox Hill vs Williamstown
