South Fremantle grabbed its second win of the season last week with a victory over East Perth, and while on paper the Bulldogs are far stronger than their sixth position might suggest, they have ultimately only beaten the bottom two sides. That can change here against the fourth placed Swan Districts who can actually overtake West Perth in third with a victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

South Fremantle is able to welcome back AFLW Academy member Molly O’Hehir<\/a> into the side along with AFLW-listed Ariana Hetherington<\/a> for some height. The pair add to the talent at the Bulldogs’ disposal, but the Swans lose State Academy member Jasmine Bazeley<\/a> among four outs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Swan Districts made just the two swaps with Naomi Baker<\/a> and Adi Griffith<\/a> in for Emma Nanut<\/a> and Keira Kennedy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AFLW DRAFT TALENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
O’Hehir is returning from her clash against the Under 23 All-Stars in Melbourne and will be key through the midfield. Going head-to-head with in-form Lily Paterson<\/a> or Carys D’Addario<\/a> will be a head-to-head within the match to watch. Noa McNaughton<\/a> is a forward with plenty of zip, while Indiana West<\/a> has enjoyed a strong season for the Black Ducks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KEY PLAYERS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Most of the draftable talent are the key players, though Bulldogs have some depth to the midfield with Liusaidh Gilchrist<\/a>, Lauren Vecchio<\/a> and Tahleah Mulder<\/a> joining O’Hehir as key ball-winners. For the Swans, D’Addario and Paterson have been quite the one-two punch this year, with Emma Humphries<\/a> adding some much needed experience to that onball brigade. The forwardline of Courtney Zappara<\/a>, Brianna Hyde<\/a> and Taylah Edwards<\/a> can do plenty of damage as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PREDICTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Though the ladder positions might suggest otherwise, South Fremantle at its best would be hard to beat here at home. However the Swans keep ticking over with strong performances, and do have the talent across the board to be a worry for the home side.<\/p>\n
