However all eight sides are missing their underage Suns and Lions Academy players, which brings the likes of Bond University and Southport back to the pack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WILSTON GRANGE vs. BOND UNIVERSITY Second placed Bond University is coming off a shock six-point loss to Coorparoo as the Bull Sharks search to find a way to win in the absence of their key young guns. The reigning premiers’ percentage is still a ridiculous 328.26 per cent, and they take on a fourth placed Wilston Grange who has won just as many games – two – but has the second worst percentage in the league of 56.52.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Bull Sharks will lean on their AFLW experienced players such as Leah Kaslar<\/a>, Tahlia Meyer<\/a> and Imogen Evans<\/a> in the match, with tall talent Jasmyn Davidson<\/a> a key player for the visitors. Wilson Grange look to those such as speedster Keyshia Matenga<\/a>, experienced Jasmine Ware<\/a> and the in-form Charlize Anderson.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n SOUTHPORT vs. UNIVERSITY OF QUEENSLAND Southport has suffered back-to-back losses since the Sharks’ big win over Wilston Grange in Round 1, falling to fifth on the QAFL Women’s ladder. The Sharks will be favourites for a bounce-back victory against a Red Lionesses outfit that sits seventh, albeit percentage away from Southport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Sharks still have plenty of talented players on their list, with ex-Sun Kaylee Kimber<\/a> and fellow former AFLW-listed player Selina Priest<\/a>. Overage duo Kierra Zerafa<\/a> and Emma Suckling<\/a> are others who can make an impact. Watch the likes of Coco Garton<\/a> from the Red Lionesses, with ex-netballer Laura Clemesha<\/strong> another who is developing her craft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n MAROOCHYDORE vs. ASPLEY Reigning grand finalists Aspley Hornets are on top of the world – or at least the QAFLW ladder – having accounted for Southport last week, and now boast the highest percentage in the league of 375.47. The Hornets made the trip north to Maroochydore who got on the board against the Devils last week with a commanding 46-point victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Maroochydore has shared its goals around this season with Hayley Edgar<\/strong>, Chelsea Gillard<\/a> and Ellen Hopkins<\/strong> all kicking four majors. Jessica Stallard<\/strong> leads the competition with nine across her three games and looms as the player to stop for from the Hornets, while the duo of Louise Tyson<\/strong> and Jessica Davy <\/strong>have controlled the clearances this year, ranked one and two in the league respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n COORPAROO vs. YERONGA SOUTH BRISBANE After an impressive win over Bond University last week, Coorparoo moved up to third on the QAFL Women’s table and will host the struggling Yeronga South Brisbane team that is averaging 9.3 points per game and conceding 88. The Kings will look to build momentum and keep in touch with the top two, while also creating separation on the rest of the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lions listed forward\/midfielder Jacinta Baldwick<\/a> provides a touch of class to the Kings’ lineup, while captain Ajla Fetahagic<\/strong>, Lucy Schneider<\/a>, Jenae Govan<\/strong> and Chelsea Chesterfield<\/a> have all shown to be players who can take control of a match. For the Devils, skipper Lucy Bellinger<\/a>, Madison Goodwin<\/a> and Chesea Winn<\/strong> will try and steer their side to an upset victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n
