THIS weekend sees the end of the Sydney teams\u2019 brief spell in the competition, with Sydney and GWS finishing their five-match stints up this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Falcons return home this weekend taking positives but also frustrations out of last week\u2019s clash with the Seagulls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They meet a Port Melbourne side who are in a rotten run of form at the moment, and will perhaps look at this clash as the perfect opportunity to get their season back on track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Katelyn Lee<\/a>\u2019s return to the Darebin line up has come at the perfect time, with the Borough bringing back both Federica Frew<\/a> and Emily Harley<\/a> this week. However, Darebin\u2019s job will be that much harder without Caitlin Bunker<\/a>, who is out injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Sydney return home this week looking to finish their series in the VFLW with an undefeated record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile Collingwood will be looking to buck the trend and become the first team to defeat one of the Sydney teams this VFLW season, but comes into the clash off the back of a match last week where it was simply outclassed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sydney has taken this one last opportunity in the VFLW to give Academy members Emma Juneja<\/a> and Ellie Veerhuis<\/a> a go at this level, while Collingwood has really brought in the cavalry, bringing in six of its AFLW stars including Sabrina Frederick<\/a> and Sarah Rowe<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n It is another reverse fixture as the Blues and Cats meet again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Cats got the chocolates in Round 1, but will Carlton be able to reverse the result back at home?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Carlton has made seven changes this week, including bringing in Northern Knight\u2019s trio Zoe Hargreaves<\/a>, Hannah Scott<\/a> and Holly Ridewood<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Geelong has also made five changes, but crucially lose Caitlin Reid<\/a> and Poppy Schaap<\/a> in that list of changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The first Sunday match is several weeks sees the Saints again at home, this time hosting the other team with Melbourne in their name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These two sides are both coming off losses, and would love nothing more than a win to bring some stability to their season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Saints have only made two changes, but one of those that is out is Natalie Plane<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In contrast North has made five changes, and will be grateful for the return of the return of the likes of Nicole Hales<\/a> and Matilda Zander<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Two of last week\u2019s winners meet on Sunday in an important clash. Only half a game splits them on the ladder, and with a ladder as tight as the VFLW\u2019s is at the moment, every win is just so crucial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Dees have brought in a mixture of AFLW, VFLW and Coates Talent League talent this week, including the likes of Georgia Campbell<\/a>, Samantha Johnson<\/a> and Charlotte Brewer<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Seagulls on the flipside have three big ins this week \u2013 Ashlee Thorneycroft<\/a>, Bridie Kennedy<\/a> and Chloe Bain<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n GWS return home this week looking to finish their series in the VFLW with an undefeated record, while the Bombers will be looking to buck the trend and become the first team to defeat one of the Sydney teams this VFLW season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Giants have made two straight AFLW for AFLW swaps, including bringing in Mikayla Pauga<\/a> for Zarlie Goldsworthy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Essendon meanwhile has made six changes, including bringing in Danielle Marshall<\/a> for her first game of the season and bringing back Bailey Hunt<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The final match of the weekend sees the Bulldogs host the Hawks in a clash that looks a bit different on paper than it did a week ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Bulldogs will be buoyed after fighting off Carlton last week, while the Hawks got their wings clipped by the Swans last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Bulldogs have made six changes, including bringing in the likes of Vaomua Laloifi<\/a> for her first game in Bulldogs colours since her pre AFLW days, while the Hawks have made five changes, including bringing in their AFLW captain Tilly Lucas-Rodd<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\nSydney vs Collingwood
