AS the last month of the 2024 VFLW season fast approaches, things continue to remain intriguing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last weekend this match would have looked very different for both of these sides, however it remains just as important for both sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Seagulls are second on the table and will be looking to keep that buffer to the chasing pack, while the Blues are a game out of finals and will need to bank as many wins as possible to keep in touch with the top six.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Neither side has made many changes this week. The Seagulls have brought in Zoe Day<\/a>, while among Carlton\u2019s inclusions this week is Bendigo Pioneers pair Jemmika Douglas<\/a> and Alexis Gregor<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n This clash has similar levels of importance to the one starting four hours earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Essendon currently sits in fourth on the ladder, but is only one game ahead of those outside the six.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Roos on the other hand are a game out of the six, and really cannot afford to slip any further behind, especially with other sides around them so close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kayla Peake<\/a> is the big out for the Roos this week, but Essendon have much bigger outs, with Alex Morcom<\/a> and Bailey Hunt<\/a> among the five outs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Neither of these sides will be happy with how last week went for them, and so will bring plenty of fire and energy to Casey Fields tomorrow afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These two are also looking for a major boost in consistency after an up and down two and a half months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sophie Casey<\/a> and Sarah D’Arcy<\/a> headline Casey\u2019s inclusions, while the Cats have made eight changes, including bringing in Jamilla Cranny<\/a> and Gabbi Featherston<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Saturday\u2019s action ends in Collingwood, with the in form Pies taking on the equally in form Bulldogs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Both of these sides will be looking for a percentage booster this weekend, with the percentages of both sides significantly poorer than the teams around them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Collingwood have made a whopping 10 changes, bringing in the likes of Lilly Pearce<\/a> and Jordan Ivey<\/a>, with the latter finally over a foot injury and able to play her fist game of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Bulldogs\u2019 for their part have made six changes, including bringing in Eleanor Cornish<\/a> and Mia-Rae Clifford<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The first game on Sunday looks very different then it did before last weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Both sides come into the clash off the back of breaking winless runs, so will have an added boost of confidence heading into this clash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Hawks have made seven changes, and while they gain Nadia Von Bertouch<\/a> back, they do lose Tilly Lucas-Rodd<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Darebin meanwhile have made only the three changes, but do welcome back with open arms former premiership star Nicole Callinan<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The final match of the weekend sees two sides who are in a bit of a form slump and are desperate for a win battle it out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Borough are currently fifth on the ladder but have only one of their last five matches, while the Saints have not won a match since Round 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Saints will warmly welcome back Deanna Jolliffe<\/a> and Melanie Bertuna<\/a>, while Gabrielle Seymour<\/a> will be a very welcome addition to the Borough line up this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\nNorth Melbourne vs Essendon
