The 48-player squad features nine Sharks and eight Tigers, and is based off our Team of the Week nominations throughout the course of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only stipulations in regards to eligibility is the player must not be AFLW-listed, and also must have played a minimum of seven regular season games. That meant there were a few players who missed out due to both clauses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the Sharks and Tigers, the Falcons had seven, while the next three sides all had six representatives in the squad, indicative of how even the competition was this year. Peel Thunder (four players) and East Perth (two) still managed multiple representatives despite tough years for the clubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among those in the squad are AFLW Academy members <a data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"86932\" class=\"_dc_spo\" href=\"\/afl\/player\/zippy-fish\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Zippy Fish<\/a>, <a data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"101465\" class=\"_dc_spo\" href=\"\/afl\/player\/molly-ohehir\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Molly O&#8217;Hehir<\/a> and <a data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"102078\" class=\"_dc_spo\" href=\"\/afl\/player\/claudia-wright\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Claudia Wright<\/a>, as well as reigning Dhara Kerr Medallist <a data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"99522\" class=\"_dc_spo\" href=\"\/afl\/player\/jayme-harken\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jayme Harken<\/a> and back-to-back Rogers Cup Best and Fairest <a data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"130698\" class=\"_dc_spo\" href=\"\/afl\/player\/mia-russo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mia Russo<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 48-player extended squad will be cut down to 24 by Thursday night with the unveiling of our Team of the Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2024 ROOKIE ME CENTRAL WAFLW TEAM OF THE YEAR: FULL SQUAD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Claremont [8]:<\/strong> Jayme Harken, Juliet Kelly, Eva O&#8217;Donnell.
