Eastern Ranges piled on eight goals to one in the first half to set up a commanding 75-point win over Western Jets, continuing their ridiculous form of late. The Ranges never looked like losing and showed they are a genuine challenger to Oakleigh with a plethora of impressive players across the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
STANDOUT:<\/strong> Tayla McMillan<\/a> (Eastern Ranges)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The bottom-ager was at her blistering best, picking up 27 disposals, three marks, eight tackles, nine inside 50s and three rebound 50s to be nominated for our Player of the Week in Round 11. She led the way with her clean hands and decision making once against for the Ranges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stasia Stevenson<\/a> had a day out, finishing with 28 disposals, seven marks, 11 tackles and seven inside 50s working hard in the front half, while Grace Belloni<\/a> and Jordyn Allen<\/a> were busy as always. Georgie Brisbane<\/a> and Zoe Vozzo<\/a> kicked multiple goals, as did Under 16s debutant Lara Williams<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sierra Grieves<\/a> (35 disposals, six marks, six tackles, six inside 50s, four rebound 50s and a goal) brought her own ball again, while Alex McBride-Loane<\/a> and Lou-Lou Field<\/a> were both productive and found their fair share of the ball.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After some hard-fought clashes, Northern Knights got back on the winners list in a massive way, running out 64-point victors. The clash was relatively even through the first half, but the Knights put the foot down kicking seven goals to nil in the second half, including 5.5 to 0.0 in the last term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
STANDOUT:<\/strong> Sophie McKay<\/a> (Sandringham Dragons)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It might be strange in such a big loss, but the Carlton father-daughter prospect had a huge day out, booting two goals from 30 touches. She kicked two thirds of her team’s score, while also laying nine tackles and having four inside 50s and three rebound 50s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Knights shared it around without having one particular standout. Among the better players were Olivia Gorman<\/a> (23 disposals, five marks, four tackles and a goal), Zoe Hargreaves<\/a> (20 disposals, five tackles and eight inside 50s), Olivia Jesser<\/a> (16 disposals, eight tackles and a goal) and Holly Ridewood<\/a> (15 disposals, two goals). Reigning premiers Oakleigh Chargers got back to their brutal best against the Cannons, slamming home nine goals in the first half en route to a 83-point win. The Cannons were much better in the second half, restricting the Chargers to just one goal in the third term and kicked two themselves in the fourth, but ultimately were well beaten at Windy Hill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
STANDOUT:<\/strong> Bailee Martin<\/a> (Oakleigh Chargers)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 16-year-old forward had a day out in front of the big sticks, with only inaccuracy impacting her ability to finish with an enormous total. Still, Martin booted 4.3 from 19 disposals and five marks, providing a real headache for opposition defenders in the match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Martin was not the only player to finish with multiple goals as Chloe Bown<\/a> (two goals from 18 disposals) and Emma McDonald<\/a> (two goals from 17 touches) were busy, and Storm Johnson<\/a> (three goals) feasted on the repeat inside 50 entries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a tight first half, the class of Dandenong Stingrays rose to the top against Bendigo Pioneers, kicking seven goals to one in the second half. The Stingrays had contributors across the field in the clash at Shepley Oval, continuing their fantastic form against the Victorian teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
STANDOUT:<\/strong> Jemma Reynolds<\/a> (Dandenong Stingrays)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The top-age jet had another impressive outing in the Stingrays’ win, collecting 25 disposals and winning it on both the inside and outside of the contest. Reynolds picked up seven inside 50s and was influential in the forward half of the ground, providing important linkages from midfield to attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swung forward after starting back, Evelyn Connolly<\/a> kicked 4.2 from 16 disposals in a strong effort inside 50, while Makhaela Bluhm<\/a> (20 disposals, six tackles) and Kate Terri<\/a> (30 disposals, four tackles) working hard through the match. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
AFLW Academy member Zoe Besanko<\/a> also had a big outing of 19 disposals and 22 hitouts. For the Pioneers, Lou Painter<\/a> was prolific all over the ground with 26 disposals, six marks, nine tackles and 14 rebound 50s, while Lavinia Cox<\/a> found her fair share of the ball.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bushrangers kicked three second quarter goals to hit the front by three points at the main break but a four goals to nil third term sealed the deal for Geelong who enjoyed the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Geelong dynamo found a stack of the ball once again and finished with eight more touches than anyone else on the field. Howley had 33 disposals, three marks, six tackles, four inside 50s and two rebound 50s in the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Geelong had a stack of standout players wiht smooth-moving Lucy Marescuk<\/a> and skipper Mekah Morrissy<\/a> among those. The returning Chloe Bryant<\/a> picked up where she left off with 22 disposals, while Stella Huxtable<\/a> and Hayley Peck<\/a> were both strong. The usual suspects for the Bushrangers looked good with Rose Bell<\/a>, Sophia Green<\/a>, Ellie Hall<\/a> and Holly Egan<\/a> all working hard behind the ball to get it forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Completing the round, Tasmania Devils picked up a grinding 18-point win over Gippsland Power at Shepley Oval. The Devils were more efficient on goal, kicking 7.4 to 3.10 from two less scoring shots. In the end, they were too strong defensively and came away with the four points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Devils defender also spent time up the field and even in attack where she kicked a goal, producing a strong performance across the board for four quarters. Williams finished with 17 disposals, seven marks, two tackles, three inside 50s, five rebound 50s and a goal in the victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Williams had a number of contributors sharing the load with Mischa Barwin<\/a> (16 disposals, three marks, four tackles and a goal) and Priya Bowering<\/a> (24 disposals, four tackles, four inside 50s and a goal) both prominent.
