There is only one match on today\u2019s agenda, but it is all to play for as the Box Hill Hawks host Port Melbourne. Win, and you fight to live at least one more week. Lose, and your season is done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These two are arguably the most inconsistent sides from the past month or so of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Box Hill have not been able to string two wins together since they won their first five matches of the year, while the Borough have not done so since they won their first three matches of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The past five weeks for both sides has seen them have two losses, two wins and a draw, albeit in a different sequence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is not too much history between these two sides. Since the Borough joined the competition a couple of seasons ago they have only played four times, with the ledger slightly sitting in the Hawks\u2019 favour with two wins to their name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a pretty rare occurrence, these two met so recently their last meeting was merely last week. At ETU Stadium on the final day of the season, these two sides played out a draw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a hard fought and at times congested game, the momentum of the match swung so many times over the course of the two hours that ultimately, it was fitting that the match ended in a draw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Box Hill:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In:<\/strong> Jade Wise<\/p>\n\n\n\n Out:<\/strong> Erin Woodford (omission)<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Port Melbourne:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In: <\/strong>Jessie Williams and Rachael Slater<\/p>\n\n\n\n Out:<\/strong> Bella Clarke (injury) and Ava Seton (suspension)<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Port Melbourne\u2019s midfield is a massive weapon the Borough have at their disposal, so that is one area the Hawks will need to worry about today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n However they are missing one of their biggest weapons in Ava Seton<\/a> through suspension, so it is going to have to be up to the likes of Lauren Caruso<\/a> and Jordan Mifsud<\/a> to really step up, fill that hole and drive the clearance work and defensive pressure that Seton normally does so well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Even without Seton, Caruso and Mifsud are also very important players, so the likes of Rosie Dillon<\/a> and Danika Spamer<\/a> will have plenty to think about in their quest to keep the Borough midfield\u2019s influence down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\nKEY PLAYERS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
