THE AFL has today announced the squads for next year’s boys and girls National Academy programs. Among the inductees are AFL Life Members Education Assistance Award recipients Willem Duursma<\/a> and Georja Davies<\/a>, who each earned a $10,000 scholarship grant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next year’s intake marks the 28th annual edition for the boys, along with the girls’ ninth. Both programs feature the most talented draft age (2007-born) prospects for 2025, including players from each state and territory, and a variety of cultural backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Players will converge for three camps over the next year, the first being a high performance program in Melbourne. The boys come together from December 4-6 before the girls take centre stage between December 9-11. Two more camps in 2025 will involve showcase games, with dates to be confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
