THE 2025 portion of the NTFL Women\u2019s season began with a common theme across all the Round 12 matches \u2013 big margins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The biggest of these winners was Palmerston, who kept Wanderers firmly winless after thrashing them to the tune of 170 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Palmerston was already 44 points up at the first change, and kept the foot on the gas all game as it kept the Wanderers scoreless all game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Taylah Easton<\/strong> booted six majors for the Magpies, while Ella Ward<\/a> booted five majors and Marika Carlton<\/a> booted four of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n St Mary\u2019s also had a triple-digit win, defeating penultimate placed Waratah to the tune of 123 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Saints were only about four goals up at the first change, but kicked five goals to none in the second term to really open up the game and they never looked back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ciaralii Parnell<\/a> kicked four majors for the victorious Saints, while Nicky Anderson<\/strong>, Shakaila Gardiner-Dunn <\/strong>and Amelia Martin<\/strong> all kicked three each. Meanwhile Nikki Watts<\/a>, Skye Haslem<\/strong> and Lily Tastula<\/strong> all performed well in a tough loss for the Tahs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Darwin picked up a crucial win in the race for the finals, beating the Tiwi Bombers by 57 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The second term was ultimately the pivotal quarter, as the Buffaloes kicked three goals to one to pull ahead, and the deficit ultimately proved too difficult for the Bombers to reel back in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kiara Henry<\/a> and Stephanie Williams<\/a> both kicked three goals for the victors, while Talia Corrie<\/strong> kicked two majors. Meanwhile for the visitors Gabrielle King<\/strong> kicked two majors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The one exception to this rule was top of the table PINT, who did keep their undefeated run alive with a win over Southern Districts, but it was only a 25 point margin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Southern Districts actually held a narrow lead at the first change, before PINT kicked the only score in the second term to take the lead, and never gave it back up in the second half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Paige Sheppard<\/a>, Reni Hicks<\/a> and Jordan Membrey<\/a> starred in the win for PINT while Nayely Borg<\/a>, Klarissa Van der Saag <\/strong>and Alessia Smythe<\/strong> were among the top performers for Southern Districts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
