It was clear from early on the match was not going to be remotely close, with PINT running out 26.21 (177) to 0.0 (0) winners.

In a comprehensive end to a successful season, PINT held off a determined St Mary’s outfit for top spot, destroying Wanderers with a 13-goal and 25-scoring shot first half, before keeping the foot firmly down with a 13.9 second half as well.

Membrey produced a best on ground performance in the win, slamming home seven goals during the 47-scoring shot game, while a trio of players also filled their boots with five-goal games. Steph Lawrence, Kenidee McNamara and Casey Morris all kicked five majors and were among a total of just seven individual goalkickers.

Ex-Swan Paige Sheppard kicked two, while Casey Griffiths and Rhiley Huppatz also hit the scoreboard with a major each. The Saints kept the Crocs scoreless in three of the four quarters, and stormed away after the final break, extending their last change lead from 42 points to 77 by the final siren in a 12.17 (89) to 2.0 (12) victory.

Forward Caitlin Sargent starred in front of goals with five majors in a best on ground performance, while Amelia Martin and Janet Baird were also very good. Alessia Smythe and Megan Craufurd were voted best-on for Southern Districts in the loss.

Nightcliff had locked up a double chance for some time, but put an exclamation mark on its season with a 39-point win over Palmerston Magpies. The Tigers raced out of the blocks to kick seven goals to one across the first three quarters and open up a 40-point lead at three quarter time. Though the Magpies did kick two goals in the final term to outside the home side, it would not be enough and the third placed Tigers won, 9.9 (63) to 3.6 (24).

Cassie McWilliam kicked three goals in the victory, while Lekaiya Rabbitt was named best on ground for the Tigers.
