EASTERN Ranges impressive talent depth looks set to stretch on for a number of years yet, with some huge wins at the Coates Talent League Girls Under 16s carnival. The Ranges and Calder Cannons went undefeated throughout the tournament, while Northern Knights and Oakleigh Chargers split their results. Sandringham Dragons and Western Jets went down in both games to round out the other teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CALDER CANNONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Calder flexed its muscles during the carnival, picking up a couple of really strong wins. The Cannons were spearheaded by talented forward Holly Clough <\/strong>who slammed home nine goals across the two games and was a star for the side. The remaining nine goals all came from individual goalkickers, while the likes of Coco Balmain<\/strong>, Tahnee Davis<\/strong> and Tilda Sinclair <\/strong>were all named in the best for both matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n RESULTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n defeated Northern Knights by 32 points Goals:<\/strong> Holly Clough (9) <\/p>\n\n\n\n EASTERN RANGES:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The two-time recent Under 18s grand finalist looks set to enjoy plenty of wins for the next few years, with its Under 16s sides putting a couple of teams to the sword. The Ranges won by an average of 63 points and that included a wet weather victory against the Chargers.
