The Ranges and Calder Cannons went undefeated throughout the tournament, while Northern Knights and Oakleigh Chargers split their results. Sandringham Dragons and Western Jets went down in both games to round out the other teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CALDER CANNONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Calder flexed its muscles during the carnival, picking up a couple of really strong wins. The Cannons were spearheaded by talented forward <strong>Holly Clough <\/strong>who slammed home nine goals across the two games and was a star for the side. The remaining nine goals all came from individual goalkickers, while the likes of <strong>Coco Balmain<\/strong>, <strong>Tahnee Davis<\/strong> and <strong>Tilda Sinclair <\/strong>were all named in the best for both matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RESULTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>defeated Northern Knights by 32 points<br>defeated Sandringham Dragons by 39 points<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Goals:<\/strong> Holly Clough (9)<br><strong>Best:<\/strong> Holly Clough, Coco Balmain, Tahnee Davis, Tilda Sinclair<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EASTERN RANGES:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two-time recent Under 18s grand finalist looks set to enjoy plenty of wins for the next few years, with its Under 16s sides putting a couple of teams to the sword. The Ranges won by an average of 63 points and that included a wet weather victory against the Chargers. Different goalkickers hit the scoreboard across the different games with <strong>Kodie Daniels<\/strong> and <strong>Akia-Marie Lake<\/strong> booting four in the win over Western, while <strong>Alira Barnard Rossely<\/strong> was the pick of the Ranges from the matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RESULTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>defeated Western Jets by 79 points<br>defeated Oakleigh Chargers by 47 points<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Goals:<\/strong> Kodie Daniels (4), Akia-Marie Lake (4), Tillie Baldwin (2), Ella Wilson (2)<br><strong>Best:<\/strong> Alira Barnard Rossely, Kyra Simmons, Mackenzie Ackland, Perri Goulding<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NORTHERN KNIGHTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Northern finished the two games with a win and a loss, bouncing back from defeat against Calder to produce a 10-goal victory over Western. <strong>Gypsy Buckland<\/strong> kicked three in the win to be her side&#8217;s sole multiple goalscorer, while <strong>Milla Giardina <\/strong>and D<strong>akota Edmonds <\/strong>were named among the best from the two matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RESULTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>lost to Calder Cannons by 32 points<br>defeated Western Jets by 61 points<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Goals:<\/strong> Gypsy Buckland (3)<br><strong>Best:<\/strong> Milla Giardina, Dakota Edmonds, Mischa Stebbing, Allegra Paoli<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>OAKLEIGH CHARGERS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reigning back-to-back Under 18s premiers split their results from a win against Sandringham before going down to Eastern. A familiar surname in <strong>Scarlett Bown <\/strong>&#8211; sister of National Academy member <strong>Chloe<\/strong> &#8211; starred by being named best afield across both matches, while <strong>Abigail D&#8217;Intini <\/strong>and <strong>Julia Hipwell <\/strong>kicked two majors apiece in the carnival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RESULTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>defeated Sandringham Dragons by 13 points<br>lost to Eastern Ranges by 47 points<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Goals:<\/strong> Abigail D&#8217;Intini (2), Julia Hipwell (2)<br><strong>Best:<\/strong> Scarlett Bown, Isabella Teoh, Grace Sharkie, Abigail D&#8217;Intini<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SANDRINGHAM DRAGONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sandringham had a competitive hitout against local rivals Oakleigh Chargers before going down to Calder Cannons in the second match by 39 points.
