FOR THE second time in three years, an undefeated season up to the grand final did not yield a flag for East Fremantle, though the Sharks still boast one premiership and three grand finals in as many years. A consistent contender, there is plenty of change out at Shark Park, so it will be fascinating to see how they fare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
LAST SEASON: <\/strong>Runners-up East Fremantle is the great unknown in 20525, and given how well run the Sharks are, it would not be a shock to see them contending for the flag again. Father Matthew played a lot for East Fremantle, South Fremantle and for Fremantle. She played all Rogers Cup last year but she’s developing well, got really good skills, and quite a good athlete so looking forward to seeing what she can do.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Maya Louvel-Finn<\/a> “Maya was put up by East Fremantle last year as a prospect and then she tested really well, really powerful athlete. Plays as a defender and really good at the contest and can play on different players because of her power and athleticism.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n OTHERS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Avuya Nomlatyu<\/a> (Bottom-age)<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Ashleigh Gomes<\/a> The skipper has been an incredible player for many years now and will provide even more importance with the loss of Beth Beckett<\/a>, Sharon Wong<\/a> and Zippy Fish<\/a> from the midfield rotation. Gomes showed she can also play a wing role, though her experience will likely be needed o-nball this year. Expect her to put in yet another strong season in the blue and white.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
