ALL FOUR SANFL Women’s winners across Round 4 earned at least three representatives in our final Team of the Week prior to the first league-wide bye. North Adelaide and South Adelaide both recorded a league-high five representatives in the team, the highest number for the Roosters since the 2023 season. Unbeaten Woodville-West Torrens had four, Sturt had three, and three of the four losing sides had two with only Norwood featuring a sole representative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
>><\/strong> MOTR: South Adelaide vs. Central District<\/a> | Round 4 RECAP<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n In Round 4, the skipper’s armband had to go to South Adelaide ruck Soriah Moon<\/a> who produced an absolutely incredible performance with 29 disposals, six tackles, 23 hitouts, nine clearances, five inside 50s and four rebound 50s to be the difference in the Panthers’ win over Central District. Her deputy for the week was Christina Leuzzi<\/a>, with the Eagles’ onballer notching up 31 disposals, six marks, six tackles, five clearances and five inside 50s in a win over Norwood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It was no surprise to see the likes of regular Team of the Week players Jess Bates<\/a> and Alex Ballard<\/a> in the side after respective bests for their teams, while fellow State Team representative and another Double Blue Isobel Kuiper<\/a> assumed her regular on-ball spot. Both side had teammates on th bench as well, with top-age duo Monique Bessen<\/a> (Sturt) and Tessa Davis<\/a> (Glenelg) impressing in mid-forward and defensive roles respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Alongside vice-captain Leuzzi, the Eagles also had the bookends in 50-game forward Rosette Zerella<\/a> who booted four goals to sink the Redlegs, while Zahlia Niemann<\/a> was a rock in defence. Ruck Leah Cutting<\/a> was named on the bench again, only bested for the starting ruck role by Moon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n South Adelaide equalled the league-high five representatives, with a dominant forwardline that featured three Panthers. Shae Archbold<\/a> and Lily Baxter<\/a> both kicked two goals a piece to make it in, while Emma Charlton<\/a> was huge playing through midfield and rotating forward. Fellow teenager Layla Vizgaudis<\/a> completed the South contingent by squeezing onto the bench yet again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n North Adelaide’s fantastic five spread across all three lines and the interchange with defender Jamie Parish<\/a> (half-back), Laela Ebert<\/a> (wing), Aprille Crooks<\/a> (half-forward) and Polly Turner<\/a> (forward pocket) all making the starting lineup. Impressive midfielder Ash George<\/a> was named on the interchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In defence, Norwood’s sole representative Sophie Arkun<\/a> is in a back pocket opposite to Central District defender Madison Lane<\/a>, while West Adelaide’s Phillipa Worthley<\/a> slotted into half-back.
