Fresh of a successful Under 16s campaign and just a three-day turnaround since her last match on Tuesday, Iris Newman<\/a> returns to the Roosters’ lineup. She is joined in the side by Laura Niejalke<\/a> as Crows-listed star Hannah Ewings<\/a> is rested and Erin Sundstrom<\/a> is out with a hamstring injury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Central District has just match a switch of young guns with Charlotte Maurits<\/a> set to make her debut and like Newman is just three days from playing for her state. She replaces National Academy member Sophie Eaton<\/a> who will done the Australia jumper against an All-Stars side on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AFLW DRAFT WATCH<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
North’s young core has been impressive this season with contested marking bottom-ager Polly Turner<\/a> and fellow forward Lucy Reddaway<\/a> very exciting. Miyu Endersby<\/a> should get a chance through the ruck when not at half-back, while Maurits is all class and should hit the scoreboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PREDICTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
It really comes down to which Central District side comes out, because the Bulldogs were still strong last week after a poor Round 3, but convincingly got the job done in the opening fortnight. The feel is that if both sides play to their best, the Dogs should be too strong, but the Roosters have been consistent across the four weeks.<\/p>\n

She returns with classy forward Doreena Hansen<\/a> who are the likely couple of ins, while Lily Baxter<\/a> (National Academy match) and Laquoiya Cockatoo-Motlap<\/a> (concussion) are the confirmed outs at this stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Glenelg also loses a talented youngster to the National Academy in Eloise Mackereth<\/a>, while Ellie Kellock<\/a> hurt her knee early in a Round 4 marking contest, while Lucy Weatherald<\/a> and Astrid Gooley<\/a> also made way. Coming into the side are Ash Dyer-Pietsch<\/a>, Alex Pearce<\/a>, Chloe Harding<\/a> and debutant Millie Clarke<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All eyes for Glenelg turn to the forward pressure that Matilda Wilmore<\/a> and Jordan Horne<\/a> could create inside 50, while Tessa Davis<\/a> has been reliable at thwarting attacks. Georgie Fielder<\/a> through the midfield will likely go head-to-head with either of Layla Vizgaudis<\/a> or Emma Charlton<\/a>, while Taya Maxwell<\/a> has caused plenty of headaches for the opposition this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PREDICTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Based on form it’s impossible to look past South who look a genuine premiership contender. Glenelg is better than it has been playing, but the Bays just need to find a way to gel and get some consistent scoring flow happening in order to kick-start their season.<\/p>\n

Until the Eagles give a reason not to tip them, it’s difficult to go against them. At home West Adelaide have the upper hand, and it will depend how each side comes off the break, but on form it has to be with Woodville-West Torrens.<\/p>\n

PREDICTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
A genuine 50-50 contest that could go either way, Norwood has a great opportunity to try and pick its way through Sturt’s defence minus Ballard, while also having the more experienced midfield. Though the Double Blues have the homeground advantage, expect that not to worry Norwood and both sides should battle it out to the wire.<\/p>\n
