Glenelg is still searching for its first win despite getting close on a number of occasions. Norwood has not fared much better, winning just one of its first five games and last year’s grand finalists are now forced to dig deep in an effort to catch up to the top four sides. Glenelg has made just the one change for a huge Anzac Day clash with National Academy member Eloise Mackereth<\/a> returning to the Bays’ forwardline – which is quite tall – replacing fellow State Academy member Jordan Horne<\/a>. Norwood has also made minimal changes with State Academy members Charli Hazelhurst<\/a> and debutant Lottie Almond<\/a> coming into the team to replaced the concussed Sophie Arkun<\/a> and omitted Grace Whittaker<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AFLW DRAFT WATCH<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mackereth got some confidence up for the Australia Under 18s booting three goals and will bring that experience to Stratarama Stadium tomorrow. She can be the X-Factor that gets Glenelg over the line with most other areas doing well thus far. Pressure forward Matilda Wilmore<\/a> adds a different look inside 50, while Tessa Davis<\/a> has been rock solid in defence all season, and Georgie Fielder<\/a> took the opportunity to return to the inside with both hands last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hazelhurst will play a key role as that athletic, versatile tall, while Almond will get her chance at senior level following consistent displays at Development level this season. Kate Alexander<\/a> has held her own against some seriously talented rucks this season and is a key player at the Redlegs, while fellow bottom-ager Charlee Brooksby<\/a> is as classy as they come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PREDICTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both sides will be desperate for a win and coming off a grand final, Norwood will not want to fall too far behind the eight ball. For that reason the tip leans with the Redlegs, but on paper Glenelg has some seriously good talent and once it all clicks the Bays will be a force.<\/p>\n
