West Adelaide welcome back ex-Crow Rachelle Martin<\/a> which will be a huge boost to the side, coming into the team as part of an extended bench with the likes of Molly Peterson<\/a> and Gracie Sim<\/a> among the other inclusions. Central District has bolstered its lineup as well with a trio of teenagers returning in the form of Sophie Eaton<\/a>, Tara Lord<\/a> and Mikaylah Antony<\/a> as well as impressive defender Madison Lane<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AFLW DRAFT WATCH<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was quite a return to her best form from Chloe Tonkin<\/a> last week through the ruck and should have a great battle with fellow youngster Miyu Endersby<\/a> there. Emily Mableson<\/a> and Lucy Waye<\/a> are always strong defensively and will look to continue their 2025 form against the Dogs. National Academy member Eaton will have enjoyed the break for the high profile clash in Victoria and return to SANFLW to attack the next part of the season hard, while Lord and Antony provide some speed at either end. Second-gamer Charlotte Maurits<\/a> will only get better from here too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PREDICTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
What a game this looms to be with West Adelaide having the homeground advantage, though the Dogs have no feats playing at Hisense. Central has brought back some huge ins for the game so get the tip, but another match that could go either way.<\/p>\n

Woodville-West Torrens could not have started the season any better, winning five straight games and edging ever closer to making its first ever SANFLW finals series. With just two scalps remaining to collect the set in the first half of the season, the Eagles are the form team of the competiiton. North Adelaide has equally surpassed expectations with the reigning wooden spooners already up to a 3-2 record after only winning the two matches last seaosn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Eagles have brought in a huge name in ex-AFLW talent McKenzie Dowrick<\/a> for the contest, joined by youngster Julia Faulkner<\/a> who will play her second SANFLW League match. They replace the injured Brianna Walling<\/a> and omitted tall Ruby Lynch<\/a>. North Adelaide has only made one confirmed change with Ash George<\/a> missing due to concussion, with four ins as part of an extended bench including three ultra-experienced players in Lauren Gauci<\/a>, Erin Sundstrom<\/a> and Amber Ward<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
AFLW DRAFT WATCH<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earning captaincy in the AFLW Under 16s All-Australian team, Maia Freemantle<\/a> has easily adapted to League football with her defensive pressure and smarts. Similarly smooth-moving Imogen Trengove<\/a> has had some big games this season, while Faulkner’s return is another one to watch. For the Roosters, key forward Polly Turner<\/a> has shown her marking capabilities in 2025, while Lucy Reddaway<\/a> has done well inside 50 and Caitlin Hardin<\/a> made a successful debut last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PREDICTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
North’s side does look very strong and the best it has thus far in 2025, but as seems to be the case each week, until the Eagles give a reason why not to tip them, form suggests you just have to side with Woodville-West Torrens in this one. Expect a close and entertaining game though.<\/p>\n
