Also coming in for the Sharks are experience midfielder Amber Kinnane<\/a> and young forward Grace Freeman<\/a>, though East Fremantle is without Chloe Reilly<\/a> and Ashlee Atkins<\/a>. East Fremantle should make it two wins for the year thus far with the extra experience the Sharks have on the Royals, with wins likely to come a little more freely now against the lower ranked sides.<\/p>\n

West Perth is coming off a bye last round having beaten Perth the week before, and the Falcons will hope to even the season ledger in this one. Swan Districts bounced back from a defeat to Subiaco with a triumph over Peel Thunder to move to 2-1 in the season and grab fourth ahead of four sides on one win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

West Perth has opted for the three changes with co-captain Emily Bennett<\/a> a crucial in, alongside Sophie Fisher<\/a> and Amy Fortescue<\/a>. Sara Riou<\/a> is out alongside Tazma Hutson<\/a> and Mia Robis<\/a> who were both omitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AFLW DRAFT TALENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
The midfield battle between Mia Russo<\/a> – coming off a best on ground performance against Perth – and Carys D’Addario<\/a> – coming off a starring performance against Peel – is one to watch. Lexi Strachan<\/a> and Cara Dziegielewski<\/a> form key parts of the midfield group, while Samara Sallie<\/a> will lineup again in defence and possible cross paths with the returning Gerardi. Ava Stewart<\/a> is the other State Academy member, named up forward for the Swans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PREDICTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Swan Districts have looked the better side this season, though West Perth have some big inclusions. The homeground advantage and therefore tip goes the way of the Swans, especially with the experience edge in the midfield, but it should be a close game.<\/p>\n

At the end of the day they do only have the one win but can be proud of how close they have come each time. Claremont is a tough proposition with the reigning premier unbeaten from three matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cowcher is the pick of the top-agers, though Under 16s All-Australian Charlie Fletcher<\/a> and Tiama Collard<\/a> are super talented, while Heidi Ireland<\/a> is coming off a couple of big games in defence. Claremont forward Ella Gilbey<\/a> is in career-best form, while reliable midfielder-defender Juliet Kelly<\/a> continues to perform strongly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It looks like another case of not quite having enough experience to get the job done for Peel Thunder with Claremont having the class and experience edge. Expect it to be close for the majority of the match before the Tigers pull away.<\/p>\n

For the Bulldogs, they lose Poppy Stockwell<\/a> who was drafted by Fremantle, alongside Tahleah Mulder<\/a> and Marie Polimeno<\/a>, but regain Fremantle-listed Holly Ifould<\/a>, young midfielder Renee Morgan<\/a> and marking forward Zoe Huggett<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no shortage of draft talent in this one with Crane, Wolmarans and Morgan all fantastic prospects for their respective sides. Crane has been named on the half-back flank opposite fellow State Academy member Sunni-Quay Peters<\/a>, while Layla Quinn-Schofield<\/a> is a dangerous prospect up forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PREDICTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Subiaco is the unbeaten side, still has Dana Hooker<\/a> among a stack of AFLW-listed talented and is at home. The tip has to go to the Lions, though the Bulldogs have plenty of quality players themselves in this one.<\/p>\n
