COLLECTING three out of four possible wins, the Northern Academies might not play enough games to tally a winning total in our Rookie Me Central Medal, but can shape the final leaderboard. In Round 3 of the Coates Talent League Girls, that is exactly what happened with some fresh faces earning votes, while others remained consistent as they have throughout the 2025 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
>> SCROLL to see all the Round 3 votes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It was a great weekend to be a Northern Academy tall with forwards Grace Parsons<\/a> (Swans), Majella Day<\/a> (Giants) and Harlee McIlwain<\/a> (Lions) picking up maximum votes from their respective wins. Carlton and St Kilda father-daughter prospect Sunny Lappin<\/a> was the Suns’ best in their tight loss, while the overall Academy total votes were 39 from a possible 60.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Looking at the all-Victorian votes, Rebels duo Jovie Skewes-Clinton<\/a> and Maggie Johnstone<\/a> again polled well, as did their direct opponent Chloe Baker-West<\/a> who lead all-comers after two rounds.
