GOLD Coast Suns Academy midfielder Beau Addinsall<\/a> is our lates Coates Talent League Boys Player of the Week after an enormous performance against Oakleigh Chargers in Round 6. Back at home at People First Stadium, Addinsall amassed 35 disposals, eight marks, three tackles, eight clearances, five inside 50s, two rebound 50s and two goals in the 79-point demolition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A member of the National Academy, Addinsall was impressive in his first game in the Coates Talent League last week, but went to another level against the Chargers in the Sunshine State. Addinsall was a prime mover out of the middle and finished with a 77.1 per cent disposal efficiency for the day. He was far from alone with Koby Coulson<\/a> (30 disposals, six marks, three tackles, two clearances, six inside 50s and a goal) impressing, while Caleb Nancarrow<\/a> clunked nine marks from 18 touches and seven rebound 50s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Across the league, a few past Player of the Week winners stepped up, as Willem Duursma<\/a> (28 disposals, four marks, six tackles, seven clearances, three inside 50s and two goals), Thomas McGuane<\/a> (36 disposals, five marks, five tackles, nine clearances, seven inside 50s, four rebound 50s and one goal) and Daniel Annable<\/a> (23 disposals, nine tackles, 13 clearances and five inside 50s) all among the best players for Round 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addinsall’s nomination made it three straight from the Queensland Northern Academies, while the Swans Academy also had a couple of impressive performers. Lachlan Carmichael<\/a> (32 disposals, 11 marks, three clearances, three inside 50s and seven rebound 50s) and Kaiden McNamara<\/a> (31 disposals, nine marks, two clearances, five inside 50s and six rebound 50s) had days out in a one-point win over GWV Rebels. In the same match, Talor Byrne<\/a> did all he could for the losing side with 30 disposals, seven marks, eight tackles, nine clearances and eight inside 50s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On top of McGuane’s performance, Thomas Burton<\/a> (35 disposals, five marks, five tackles, nine clearances, seven inside 50s, four rebound 50s and a goal) and Khaled El Souki<\/a> (31 disposals, four marks, five tackles, nine clearances, six inside 50s and one goal) stuffed the stats sheet against Northern Territory. Others who were impressive over the weekend included Eastern Ranges duo Josiah Landy<\/a> and Lachy Dovaston<\/a>, Calder Cannons’ Gus Papal<\/a>, Tasmania Devils’ Max Roney<\/a> and Lions Academy’s Harrison Bridge<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
