South Fremantle is coming off a Round 7 bye having beaten East Perth in Round 6 which snapped a two-game prior losing streak. Still in a healthy position, a win would see the Bulldogs snatch back fourth spot from the Falcons, while Swan Districts will remain in third regardless with just one loss to its name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Former leading goalkicker Courtney Zappara<\/a> and midfielder Tyla Fitzgerald<\/a> as well as Kayla May<\/a> have all been omitted, with the Black Ducks bgrining in Lauren Quaife<\/a>, Summer Ajduk<\/a> and Summer Yarran<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AFLW DRAFT TALENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
The battle between South Fremantle’s Renee Morgan<\/a> and Swan Districts’ Carys D’Addario<\/a> should be a fascinating one, but it might not be the only all-State Academy clash. Swan Districts forward Sienna Gerardi<\/a> could go head-to-head with the skilful Marie Polimeno<\/a> who has done a good job in South Fremantle’s defence this year. Ava Stewart<\/a> and Eva Flynn<\/a> are other State Academy members who could cross paths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PREDICTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
A cracking contest predicted, with Swan Districts in better form, so going with the visitors in this one. However the bye will mean the Bulldogs are refreshed and ready to go for a massive contest that will help with their finals aspirations.<\/p>\n

Peel Thunder deservedly got back on the winners’ list last week with a victory over East Perth to bounce back from their most disappointing result of the weekend against West Perth the week before. They come up against a red-hot Subiaco side that remained undefeated following a draw in Round 7 with Claremont.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subiaco has switched three players with Jess Pillera<\/a>, Jorja Schell<\/a> and Chloe Shearing<\/a> all coming in for Claudia Langley<\/a>, Lauren Bilaloski<\/a> and Scarlet Gallo<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AFLW DRAFT TALENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Key forward Olivia Wolmarans<\/a> secured two points for her side with a match-levelling goal last week, playing forward alongside Layla Quinn-Schofield<\/a>. Olivia Crane<\/a> has made a successful return from an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in defence, with Sunni-Quay Peters<\/a> rotating between half-back and the wing. Though the Thunder have a few young guns out at the moment, watch for Under 16s pair Courtney Fletcher<\/a> and Tiama Collard<\/a> who have both been impressing at league level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PREDICTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Subiaco is yet to lose and should be too strong for a young Peel Thunder outfit. Expect the Thunder to be competitive for the most part once again, but experience should win out and the Lions are expected to come away with the four points.<\/p>\n
