Peel Thunder is looking to bounce back from a couple of heavy losses either side of a bye, with the Mandurah-based side’s last win coming in Round 7. Luckily that was against the Thunder’s opponent tomorrow in East Perth, with the Royals still only on the one win from eight games – against Perth but can draw level with the Thunder if they get up here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coming into the side are five players in Taylor Drummond<\/a>, Zoe Peters<\/a>, Hannah Trusso<\/a>, Keeley Smith<\/a> and debutant Saffi Jennings<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Peel Thunder has opted for an extended bench at this point with Arianne Norris<\/a> the only confirmed out. Among the inclusions are Zoe Bailey<\/a>, Makinley Minchin<\/a> and Charlize Thompson<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AFLW DRAFT TALENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Peel Thunder still has its incredible double bottom-age duo of Charlie Fletcher<\/a> and Tiama Collard<\/a> running around who will create plenty of havoc for the home side. While for East Perth, Jess Verbrugge<\/a> and Sabella Banks<\/a> are a couple of players who have had draft interest in the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PREDICTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Peel Thunder won the corresponding matchup comfortably last time, and should be in line to come away with the four points again. East Perth has enough quality now to be challenging in these games and it would certainly not be a surprise to see the Royals pinch one here. Expect a close contest.<\/p>\n

West Perth had strung four wins on the trot heading into the last round before only being able to kick one goal and going down to South Fremantle in a dour struggle. Swan Districts is looking to also bounce back from a loss when falling to Subiaco, and will receive some quality inclusions while West Perth are without a host of key players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

West Perth is struggling for experience with Emily Bennett<\/a> out after that tackle last week which resulted in her missing the final term, as she is joined out of the side by wing Taylor Ferguson<\/a>, alongside young guns Lexi Strachan<\/a> and Cara Dziegielewski<\/a>. Former Royals ruck Matilda Bennett<\/a> gets her first chance across town, while the Falcons bring in a host of young guns including debutant Lunay Van Den Heever<\/a> and Jamarah Walley<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Swan Districts lose Sienna Gerardi<\/a> and Ava Stewart<\/a> on top of the already missing Carys D’Addario<\/a>, but do regain some key reinforcements such as defender Eliza Gelmi<\/a>, and midfielders Jaime Henry<\/a> and Naomi Baker<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AFLW DRAFT TALENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Walley is a top-age talent who has had a really great start to the WAFLW season and certainly has some draftable qualities, while Sara Riou<\/a> and Madison Dodd<\/a> are tough as nails and have drawn club interest in the past. Summer Ajduk<\/a> is a bottom-ager for Swan Districts who has slotted into the forward half, while Sienna Pollard<\/a> is another inclusion on an extended bench with some nice talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PREDICTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Swan Districts has the upper hand given the inclusions returning to the side and the bulk outs that West Perth have at the moments. While the Falcons so have the home ground advantage, they will need to be at their best to topple the Swans in the game.<\/p>\n
