Dandenong has the luxury of calling upon a handful of Vic Country representatives, headlined by skipper Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves<\/a>. Making his name as a clutch goalkicker, the first round talent is hitting top form both at Coates Talent League and National Championships level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are stars scattered on every line, with Max Lee<\/a> likely to feature in defence along with bottom-age swingman Darcy Szerszyn<\/a>, while onballer Callum Smith<\/a> and wingman Toby Sinnema<\/a> stake their claims through the middle third. Needless to say, the Stingrays won’t be short on quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Oakleigh’s sole Vic Metro representative is Hunter Holmes<\/a>, the brother of Geelong star Max. He’s a prospect with similar traits to his elder sibling in the way of speed, able to play on the inside or outside. Watch for him to take the game on and carve a way forward with his running strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Outside of Holmes, Oakleigh’s key feature is its over-age brigade. A staggering five are set to line up for the Chargers after the midway point of the season, including Collingwood-tied midfielder Doug Kerr<\/a> and defender Luke Quaynor<\/a> – the brother of current Magpie, Isaac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chargers have also retained Noah Yze<\/a>, the son of Richmond coach Adem, who has plied his trade in midfield of late. Key position utility and former Vic Metro representative Lucas Tovey<\/a> has also been named along with intercept defender Josh Shepherd<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
