The tough first term was not a sign of things to come as the Dogs quickly raced out to a 37-point lead just two minutes into the third term. Norwood would reduce the damage to 22 early in the fourth, but could only break even from there with a final result of 7.11 (71) to 7.4 (46).<\/p>\n\n\n\n An incredible last round performance from Katelyn Rosenzweig<\/a> who slammed home 4.5 from 17 disposals, five marks and six inside 50s saw the Central District forward take home yet another leading goalkicker award. She finished with 27 from her 14 games this season, while Tesharna Maher<\/a> continued her success up forward with another three majors. Smooth-moving Sophie Eaton<\/a> was fantastic in the front half and even hit the scoreboard, while the consistent Dakota Williams<\/a> capped off her year with a big performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For Norwood, Jade Halfpenny<\/a> has hardly played a bad game all year and that continued in Round 14 with 29 disposals, 10 marks – four contested – eight clearances and a goal – as young gun Lani Cocks<\/a> rode shotgun in the middle with 22 disposals, three marks, three clearances, eight tackles and a goal. Kiana Lee<\/a> and bottom-age ruck Kate Alexander<\/a> both kicked two goals from nine disposals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CENTRAL DISTRICT 1.2 | 5.4 | 7.8 | 10.11 (71) GOALS: RMC BEST: <\/p>\n\n\n\n Sturt stamped its ticket into the 2025 SANFLW finals series with a huge 6.7 (43) to 1.2 (8) win over North Adelaide to set up a rematch with the Roosters in the semi-final. The Double Blues held the Roosters goalless for 65 minutes before Zara Molloy<\/a> finally put one through the big sticks but by then it was too little, too late and the visitors came away with the 35-point triumph and fourth spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sturt midfielder Isobel Kuiper<\/a> was enormous in the win, picking up 25 disposals, eight clearances and laying 14 tackles. She teamed up well with skipper Alisha Gepp<\/a> (13 disposals, five tackles and five clearances) and Georgia Swan<\/a> (14 disposals, five tackles, three clearances and five inside 50s) in an even team performance. Georgia King<\/a> was the sole multiple goalkicker with 2.2 from her eight disposals and four marks (two contested).<\/p>\n\n\n\n North Adelaide had a rare off game, though defender Jamie Parish<\/a> was unsurprisingly a rock in the back half, recording 20 disposals, three marks, four tackles, four clearances, three inside 50s and three rebound 50s winning it everywhere. Under 16s midfielder Caitlin Hardin<\/a> (18 disposals, six tackles and six clearances) teamed up well with Djimila Totham<\/a> (17 disposals, 12 tackles and six clearances) in the middle, but could not get past the strength of the Double Blues’ on-ball group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n NORTH ADELAIDE 0.1 | 0.1 | 0.1 | 1.2 (8) GOALS: RMC BEST: <\/p>\n\n\n\n West Adelaide kept Glenelg goalless for three quarters and only conceded two points after half-time to secure an 18-point win over the Bays to close out the 2025 SANFLW season for both side. Each team took its chances to score up the favoured end with 6.10 kicked up one end and 0.3 kicked up the other in the 4.9 (33) to 2.3 (15) result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n West Adelaide double bottom-ager Sarah Deed<\/a> booted two goals from 20 disposals, three marks, three tackles and three inside 50s for the Bloods, while the usual midfield trio of Zoe Venning<\/a> (32 disposals, five tackles, eight clearances, three inside 50s and four rebound 50s), Hannah Button<\/a> (24 disposals, four marks, 12 tackles, five clearances and two inside 50s) and Ruby Ballard<\/a> (22 disposals, three marks, four tackles, four clearances, four inside 50s and two rebound 50s) were all very good.
