She works hard up the ground, gets into good spots and is as reliable as anyone in the air. As skipper, Sharp lead by example and was a fierce competitor, all while being a leading target inside 50. Kicked a goal in all bar two of her regular season games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amy Smith<\/a> (Beaumaris)<\/strong> Stats [12 games]:<\/strong> 13.5 disposals, 2.9 marks, 2.3 tackles, 1.8 clearances, 2.2 inside 50s, 1.8 rebound 50s, 5 goals<\/p>\n\n\n\n After missing out on making the Vic Metro hub, Smith cracked in to be a permanent member of Metro’s title-winning squad, playing in defence, as well as the wing where she honed her craft for Sandringham. As versatile as they come, she did attend some centre bounces here or there, and could go forward to sneak into space and be an option with her strength overhead and nice footskills coming to the fore regularly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Macy Watkins<\/a> (St Kilda City)<\/strong> Stats [12 games]:<\/strong> 20.7 disposals, 2.5 marks, 6.7 tackles, 5.1 clearances, 3.1 inside 550s, 0.9 rebound 50s, 1 goal<\/p>\n\n\n\n A dogged inside midfielder who worked on her offensive game this year, Watkins found the right balance between her defensive intent, and ability to create more chains when exiting a stoppage. She had some big games, but was mostly rock-solid throughout 2025 and was a ferocious tackler both inside and outside the contest. She did most of her best work at the coalface, but found herself in space both for the Dragons and Vic Metro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Bottom-age utility Chloe Williams<\/a> found herself across half-back most of the time, but she is more than capable of playing at half-forward or on a wing. With enormous upside, a nice kick and great overhead, she is a name to remember next year. Unfortunately an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury late in the season has her focused on rehabilitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Dragons have a couple of high-upside bottom-age prospects in speedy wing Grace McIntyre<\/a> and clean defender Isla Tucker<\/a>. Both will be looking to push their case for Vic Metro hubs, while twins Grace<\/a> and Imogen Perrett<\/a>, and midfielder\/forward Chloe Shipton<\/a> had some impressive games throughout the course of the 2025 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The double bottom-age crop is one to be very excited about from the Dragons, with tall midfielder\/forward Maya Duane<\/a> one of the most promising prospects, while midfielder Claudia Kogler<\/a> and defender Charlotte Embelton<\/a> are also highly talented players with potential to explode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n
