Geelong has gone into the match unchanged, while the Power have made the long-awaited debut announcement of Lauren Young<\/a>. A generational talent at just 15 years of age when starred against players three years her senior at the national championships, the West Adelaide prospect has suffered through a few frustrating years. Two anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries later and she is in line to to make her debut. Young replaces the omitted Jasmine Sowden<\/a> for the big game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
MISSING IN ACTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Port Adelaide is still without Piper Window<\/a> (ankle) for another week or two, while Cheyenne Hammond<\/a> (finger) is scheduled for a return in the next month. Jemma Charity<\/a> remains consistent in her return from an ACL injury sustained in her top-age draft season, while Julia Teakle<\/a> has been recovering from a foot injury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aside from Chloe Scheer<\/a> and Shelley Scott<\/a> who are some way off with knee and calf injuries respectively, fellow tall Kate Darby<\/a> is potentially a week away from returning from her own calf injury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
WHERE IT’S WON<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Port Adelaide’s midfield duo of Abbey Dowrick<\/a> and Ashleigh Woodland<\/a> were superb last week, and will need to be so again taking on Geelong. Both can go forward and are known goalkickers, while the inside duo of Kirsty Lamb<\/a> and Maria Moloney<\/a> will have great battles with Amy McDonald<\/a> and Nina Morrison<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Cats of course have star Georgie Prespakis<\/a> who is difficult to contain, and while Aishling Moloney<\/a> has not had the season of 2024, but the Cats still have a dangerous forwardline with Jacqueline Parry<\/a> popping up as that key target. The experience of Rebecca Webster<\/a> and Claudia Gunjaca<\/a> up teh other end is key, and the youth of Sienna Tallariti<\/a>, Emma Kilpatrick<\/a> and Lexi Gregor<\/a> all impressing in their first seasons at the club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the Power, it is all about the youth, with Young and Shineah Goody<\/a> finally teaming up at the elite level after causing headaches at junior level when still developing. If they, Matilda Scholz<\/a>, Alissa Brook<\/a> and Molly Brooksby<\/a> can get their hands on the ball, watch out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PREDICTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
A genuine 50\/50 contest with both sides showing fantastic moments littered with some lows too. The homeground advantage tips the weights in the favour of Port Adelaide, but Geelong has the experience to get the job done. The Power by two points, but it very easily could be Geelong as well.<\/p>\n

Collingwood returns to Victoria Park for a second successive week when the Magpies host Hawthorn in a bid to go back-to-back. The Pies lose Grace Campbell<\/a> but have brought back Alana Porter<\/a>, while the Hawks have regained Aileen Gilroy<\/a> for the first time in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a massive top three battle, the unbeaten Kangaroos have made one change with Tessa Boyd<\/a> replacing the injured Taylah Gatt<\/a>, as they look to knock off the in-form Blues. Carlton has reacquired the services of ruck Jess Good<\/a> from injury, while former Western Jets skipper Lou-Lou Field<\/a> makes her debut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the last match of tomorrow, Fremantle plays host to Essendon at Fremantle Oval.
