OVER the next two weeks a host of AFL and AFLW Draft hopefuls will take part in Draft Combines across three states. Victoria plays host to the National Draft Combines which feature the prospects with the most club nominations, as well as a a State Draft Combine with players from the eastern seaboards. A week later, South Australia and Western Australia will host State Draft Combines for their homegrown talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The National AFL Draft Combine features 69 players – including Irish duo Cillian Bourke<\/strong> and Ruairi<\/strong> Forbes<\/strong> – while the AFLW Draft Combine involves 48 players – with Irish duo Aoife Horisk<\/strong> and Mary-Kate Lynch<\/strong> testing – held across two days on Friday and Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Players attending the National Draft Combine will engage in club interviews and medical screenings at the MCG on Friday and Saturday ahead of Friday’s 2km time trial. The remainder of the physical testing – which includes vertical jumps, 20m sprint and the agility test – will take place on Sunday.
