The opening round of action will see a split weekend thanks to a standalone season opener between St Kilda and Carlton at Marvel Stadium as part of a special double-header with the men&#8217;s match for Spud&#8217;s Game. The remaining eight matches will take place the following weekend from August 13-16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&gt;&gt; SCROLL FOR THE FULL FIXTURE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2026 fixture includes 12 rounds for premiership points, before four rounds of finals action. It will culminate in the 2026 AFLW Grand Final on the last weekend of November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An additional two double-headers will take place alongside the men&#8217;s matches, with the North Melbourne and Geelong clash at Marvel Stadium and the GWS Giants and West Coast contest at ENGIE Stadium given fans twice as much football at one venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Swans fans will also get to see their men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s sides in Round 2 of the latter and Round 24 of the former when Sydney hosts Essendon in the AFLW on the same day that the Swans take on North Melbourne in the AFL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indigenous Round will be celebrated across Rounds 3 and 4 with Richmond and Essendon to once again play their Dreamtime match up at TIO Stadium in the Top-End, while the first of three AFLW double-headers takes place in Round 4 with Richmond and Fremantle, and Carlton and Collingwood facing off at Ikon Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pride Round will also span across a fortnight in Rounds 9 and 10, while Queensland, South Australian and West Australian fans will experience their cross-town rivalries all in the one weekend in Round 8.
