Meanwhile, Southport and Bond University flexed their muscles with massive victories to stay right on the leaders&#8217; heels, and Morningside enjoyed a dominant outing to solidify their top-five status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Southport 18.15 (123) def. University of Queensland 0.0 (0)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Southport delivered a ruthless performance against the University of Queensland, keeping the Red Lionesses scoreless in a massive 123-point shutout to continue the reigning back-to-back premiers&#8217; rise up the ladder. in an incredible team effort, just one Southport player had less than 10 disposals and they recorded the win despite losing the clearances 24-22, instead having a whopping 56 inside 50s to seven and 33 scoring shots to nil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong> <\/strong><a data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"65272\" class=\"_dc_spo\" href=\"\/afl\/player\/ella-maurer\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ella Maurer<\/a> was sensational, racking up 30 disposals, five clearances and four tackles in a prolific midfield display, well supported by <a data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"30899\" class=\"_dc_spo\" href=\"\/afl\/player\/olivia-meagher\/\" target=\"_blank\">Olivia Meagher<\/a> (24 disposals, six tackles, six inside 50s and 1.4) and <a data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"83624\" class=\"_dc_spo\" href=\"\/afl\/player\/steph-obrien\/\" target=\"_blank\">Steph O&#8217;Brien<\/a> (22 disposals, eight hitouts and four clearances). Broadbeach 1.0 (6)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bond University secured a comprehensive 62-point victory over Broadbeach, bouncing back from the Bull Sharks&#8217; forgettable 11-goal loss to Southport that surrendered them top spot the week before. Bond University dominated the ruck with 60 hitouts to 29, largely thanks to <a data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"139280\" class=\"_dc_spo\" href=\"\/afl\/player\/millar-brosnan-ball\/\" target=\"_blank\">Millar Brosnan-Ball<\/a> (49 hitouts, five clearances) as they racked up 40 clearances to 25 in a midfield shellacking against a younggroup that was missing some of its stars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"111664\" class=\"_dc_spo\" href=\"\/afl\/player\/shannon-nolan\/\" target=\"_blank\">Shannon Nolan<\/a> suffered leather poisoning, accumulating 40 disposals, 11 clearances, seven tackles and two goals. <a data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"139272\" class=\"_dc_spo\" href=\"\/afl\/player\/evy-reeves\/\" target=\"_blank\">Evy Reeves<\/a> was equally damaging with 30 disposals, eight clearance and 16 tackles, while <strong>Charlotte Taylor<\/strong> (28 disposals, seven tackles, seven inside 50s and a goal) and <strong>Lexi Samuels<\/strong> (20 disposals, 13 tackles) also worked hard for the Bull Sharks. Moreton Bay 1.1 (7)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Morningside put on a clinic against Moreton Bay, with the reigning grand finalists and flag hopefuls cruising to an 81-point victory over their fellow seconds-season side. Over-age Lions Academy member <a data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"210452\" class=\"_dc_spo\" href=\"\/afl\/player\/isabella-levine\/\" target=\"_blank\">Isabella Levine<\/a> was the star, amassing 31 disposals, 10 clearances, eight tackles and three inside 50s. <strong>Hannah McLaughlin<\/strong> (21 disposals, nine clearances, two goals), <a data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"149325\"
