Southport and Coorparoo will meet in the qualifying Final next week, with the winner heading straight to the Grand Final. Bond University will face Aspley and Morningside will take on Wilston Grange in the two elimination finals, with the losers of those matches to have their seasons ended. Here&#8217;s how Round 16 of the QAFL Women&#8217;s played out over the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Moreton Bay 0.0 (0) def. by Southport 14.17 (101)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Southport signed off on the regular season in emphatic fashion, shutting out Moreton Bay to win by 101 points at Red Rooster Park. The Sharks kept the Lions scoreless for the entire match, a fitting end to a dominant home-and-away campaign that sees them enter the finals as clear favourites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/stephanie-obrien\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Stephanie O&#8217;Brien<\/a> was outstanding for Southport, finishing with 28 disposals, six marks, four clearances, four tackles and five inside 50s. <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/ella-maurer\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ella Maurer<\/a> (24 disposals, three marks and four clearances) and <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/georgia-hunt\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Georgia Hunt<\/a> (21 disposals, five clearances and nine inside 50s) were also prolific through the midfield. <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/caitlin-miller\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Caitlin Miller<\/a> was the main beneficiary up forward, booting five goals, while <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/giselle-davies\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Giselle Davies<\/a> contributed 24 hitouts from the ruck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Moreton Bay, <strong>Jessica Davy<\/strong> (22 disposals, five clearances and seven tackles) and <strong>Arden Quilliam<\/strong> (23 disposals and one mark) were the standouts in a difficult afternoon for the Lions, whose season is now over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Broadbeach 1.3 (9) def. by Bond University 9.8 (62)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bond University produced a dominant 53-point win over Broadbeach at Neptune Homes Oval to confirm third place on the ladder heading into the finals. The Bull Sharks were far too strong, restricting the Cats to just one goal while piling on nine of their own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/annabelle-foat\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Annabelle Foat<\/a> was exceptional for Bond University, racking up 23 disposals, four marks, five clearances, four tackles and four inside 50s. <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/tegan-williams\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tegan Williams<\/a> (21 disposals, five marks, three clearances and three tackles) and <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/millar-brosnan-ball\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Millar Brosnan-Ball<\/a> (20 disposals, seven marks and five inside 50s) were also influential. <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/kendra-blattman\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kendra Blattman<\/a> was the key target up forward with four goals, while <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/kierra-zerafa\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kierra Zerafa<\/a> added two. <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/skye-white\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Skye White<\/a> dominated the ruck with 20 hitouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Broadbeach, <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/alicia-withers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alicia Withers<\/a> was tireless with 27 disposals, six clearances and 10 tackles, while <a data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"88554\" class=\"_dc_spo\" href=\"\/afl\/player\/jasmine-single\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jasmine Single<\/a> (17 disposals and two marks) and <a data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"156291\" class=\"_dc_spo\" href=\"\/afl\/player\/maddie-campbell\/\" target=\"_blank\">Maddie Campbell<\/a> (16 disposals and three clearances) also worked hard in defeat. The Cats&#8217; season is now over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Aspley 11.11 (77) def. Maroochydore 3.1 (19)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aspley rounded out the regular season with a commanding 58-point win over Maroochydore at Automall Aspley Oval, finishing the home-and-away campaign in sixth place and securing their spot in the top-six finals series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/ella-smith\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ella Smith<\/a> was phenomenal for the Hornets, accumulating a remarkable 47 disposals, three marks, 15 clearances and 12 inside 50s. <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/eva-downie\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eva Downie<\/a> (28 disposals, five marks, five clearances, six tackles and eight inside 50s) was equally dominant, while <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/niamh-mccarthy\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Niamh McCarthy<\/a> was the main goalkicker with four majors from 26 disposals and seven marks. <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/summer-carriage\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Summer Carriage<\/a> (24 disposals, four marks, one clearance and eight inside 50s) and <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/lauren-middleton\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lauren Middleton<\/a> (19 disposals, two clearances and eight inside 50s) also impressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Maroochydore, <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/molly-ferguson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Molly Ferguson<\/a> was the standout with 29 disposals, seven marks, four clearances and seven tackles. <strong>Phoebe Tuc<\/strong>k (24 disposals, four marks, two clearances and 11 tackles) also battled hard in defeat. The Roos&#8217; season is now over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Morningside 10.4 (64) def. University of Queensland 2.3 (15)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Morningside confirmed fourth place on the ladder with a dominant 49-point win over the University of Queensland at Jack Esplen Oval. The Panthers were too strong for the Red Lionesses, piling on 10 goals to two to finish the regular season in impressive form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/isabella-levine\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Isabella Levine<\/a> led the way for Morningside with 26 disposals, seven clearances and nine tackles. <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/stella-scott\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Stella Scott<\/a> (26 disposals, one mark, five clearances and five tackles) and <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/kaitlyn-day\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kaitlyn Day<\/a> (18 disposals, two marks, six clearances and eight tackles) were also outstanding through the midfield. <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/zoe-petrides\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Zoe Petrides<\/a> was the main forward threat with three goals, while <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/ella-gibson\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ella Gibson<\/a> provided 28 hitouts from the ruck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For UQ, <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/freya-ross\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Freya Ross<\/a> (27 disposals, three clearances and 11 tackles) and <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/jules-martin\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jules Martin<\/a> (25 disposals, six clearances and 12 tackles) were the best of the Red Lionesses in defeat. The Red Lionesses&#8217; season is now over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Coorparoo 5.7 (37) def. Wilston Grange 4.6 (30)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the closest contest of the round, Coorparoo held off a determined Wilston Grange challenge to win by seven points at Giffin Park, confirming second place on the ladder. The Kings were made to work hard for the victory, but ultimately had enough to hold on and secure a home final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/grace-roberts-white\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Grace Roberts-White<\/a> was Coorparoo&#8217;s best, finishing with 21 disposals, five clearances and eight tackles.<strong> Ayla Fetahagic<\/strong> (19 disposals, two marks and six clearances) and <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/chelsea-chesterfield\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chelsea Chesterfield<\/a> (17 disposals, four marks, two clearances and a goal) were also important contributors. <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/edie-fraser\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Edie Fraser<\/a> kicked two goals, while <strong>Dakota Villiva <\/strong>(seven disposals, four clearances and 11 tackles) applied enormous pressure<strong>. Renee Teys<\/strong> was busy in the ruck with 21 hitouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Wilston Grange, <a data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"54214\" class=\"_dc_spo\" href=\"\/afl\/player\/zimmorlei-farquharson\/\" target=\"_blank\">Zimmorlei Farquharson<\/a> was the hero up forward, booting three goals from 15 disposals and three marks. <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/mackenzie-findlay\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mackenzie Findlay<\/a> (16 disposals, five clearances and 11 tackles) and <a href=\"https:\/\/central.rookieme.com\/afl\/player\/layla-collins\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Layla Collins<\/a> (16 disposals, four clearances and nine tackles) were also strong, while <a data-type=\"player\" data-id=\"187949\" class=\"_dc_spo\" href=\"\/afl\/player\/abbey-crowe\/\" target=\"_blank\">Abbey Crowe<\/a> (21 disposals, six marks, two clearances and 10 tackles) was one of the Gorillas&#8217; best.
