The versatile Marsh played through the middle in the first half before drifting to defence in the second half and providing an important driving force behind the ball. She was often under siege at times during that period, but has a lovely kicking technique and makes good decisions with ball in hand. Competing well in the air for her size, Marsh also applies great pressure at ground level to make her a two-way threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Irving’s development in the back half continued, while also moving on-ball in the fourth term for her side to maximise her clean hands and strength around the coalface. Irving has the smarts to position herself effectively behind the ball, and is not afraid to switch play too. While not the quickest player, Irving is quick with her hands and able to get ball to boot well even when under pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The talented bottom-ager had a stack of the ball running off a wing, and constantly got into good positions between the arcs. Her kicking was down in terms of her efficiency with a few more turnovers, but her metres gained were still a plus. Brittain’s second and third efforts stood out, and she is another player who though not tall, is able to compete strongly in the air. Had a nice chance on goal in the first term that was unfortunately intercepted on the goalline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
#12 <\/strong>Zoe Zach<\/a>

Zach was in the ear of the Dragons midfielders all game, giving as good as she got and never too far away from the contest. Her defensive pressure was strong, and though only rewarded with two official tackles, did well with her implied pressure and bodywork. She knows her way around the stoppage, and is not afraid to get on the move to surge the ball forward, with one such example leading to a goal to Anderson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
#14 <\/strong>Annie Clish<\/a>

A naturally smart forward, Clish grabbed her standard pair of goals, giving the Stingrays a spark in the first term with a clean pair of hands and lovely finish on both occasions. She worked up the ground and got involved too, and looked dangerous every time the ball went near her. An exciting prospect for next year who has been one of the premier goalkickers in the Talent League Girls competition this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
#25<\/strong> Jasmine Whitten<\/a>

The top-ager continues to keep getting the job done, and while Whitten did not hit the scoreboard herself on this occasion, was able to set up Hannah Griffiths with a shot early, and also keep placing the ball into dangerous spots inside 50. Her aerial strength is a clear highlight, and Whitten leads out from the attacking 50 with vigour. Can hurt the opposition both in the air and at ground level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
#26<\/strong> Ella Bologa<\/a>

The game’s leading disposal winner, Bologa made an impact at both ends, with the usual defender having a stint forward during the third term. She unfortunately did not see a lot of it with the Dragons starting to take over in terms of scoring shots, but still presented and competed strongly in the air. Back in the defensive 50 for the last term, she had an important rebound 50 down the wing, though her best form came in the first half. Made some uncharacteristic errors by foot, but she is always willing to bite off those riskier kicks for the higher reward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
#66<\/strong> Shae Anderson<\/a>

While Clish was the spark in the first term, Anderson provided the fuel in the second, kicking both her goals in quick succession and building the lead for the Stingrays. Both were incredibly similar, being classy finishes on the run, and then even when she couldn’t add to her tally, she was in amongst it in the front half. Clean and quick by hand, the double bottom-ager is a name to remember over the next couple of seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was an impressive enough performance that one Dragons insider quipped she might have cracked the top 10 of this year’s AFLW Draft, with McIntyre dominating the skies with her aerial prowess. Her ground coverage is fantastic, and she loves to take the game on, with her athleticism and strength overhead similar to Scarlett Johnson<\/strong> who shot up the draft order last season. McIntyre still has to iron out her execution by foot, but the rest of her game is in good order, kicking a nice goal on the run during the fourth term and having a couple of other chances that skewed wide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The powerfully-built midfielder was enormous defensively around the stoppage with her strength and tackling prowess coming to the fore. She knew when to drop back and help out in defence, while also naturally rotating forward where she can also be a marking target. Perrett’s quick hands and cleanliness around the coalface were highlights, and her ability to wear a big bump during the first term and bounce back up to take her free kick exemplified her toughness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the fastest players in the Talent League Girls – and certainly the fastest statistically with her 20-metre sprint time 3.065 seconds – Hall is a real worry whenever she has grass in front of her. Sometimes her legs run faster than the ball can bounce back at her, but once she has control, just blasts her way past opponents like they are on a treadmill. She broke lines consistently, and nailed a nice goal from a set shot in the fourth term, stepping up in the second half where she won seven of her 12 disposals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
#9<\/strong> Chloe Williams<\/a>

In her second game back from an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), Williams stepped up to look more than comfortable back at the level. She was tipped last season to be the Dragons most promising top-ager for 2026, and while injury curtailed that, she started to show signs of what she is capable of. Rotating between the wing and defence, Williams is strong in the air, has a lovely left foot – though it is still a little rusty after so much time off – and moves well for a player of her size. A player that AFLW clubs should definitely consider because she has enormous potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
#19<\/strong> Chloe Moffat<\/a>

Another impressive performance from the bottom-age defender who continues to play her role and just get the job done each week. She competes well in the air one-on-one, but also uses the ball exceptionally well for a tall, not afraid to bite off those 45-kicks or putting the ball into more dangerous positions. Moffat can just as easily apply pressure at ground level as she does in the air, and that two-way ability makes her a really valuable player for next year’s AFLW Draft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
#20 <\/strong>Maya Duane<\/a>

The ultra-talented tall finished the game early after landing awkwardly in a tackle, but prior to that she had certainly made her presence felt. Her strength around the stoppages, penetrating kick and ability to almost do the unthinkable was one show. Duane nearly nailed the goal of the day from Row C 40 metres out in the second term, then set others up with her penetrating passes going inside 50. She again was the focus of the opposition giving away a retaliation free, but when her football did the talking she was hard to miss with her athleticism, strength and football IQ all coming to the fore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
