DANDENONG STINGRAYS\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><b>Round 2 &#8211; Saturday, March 17, 10am<br \/>Healesville Sporting Complex<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Eastern Ranges have opted to send\u00a0<strong>Gabriella De Angelis\u00a0<\/strong>forward this week, after playing in the midfield in round one. In defence,\u00a0AFLW Academy member,\u00a0<strong>Georgia Macpherson\u00a0<\/strong>retains her spot in the half-back pocket, after a damaging performance against the Greater Western Victoria Rebels. They will not be aided by captain, <strong>Jess Owen, <\/strong>who will play in the midfield this week instead of in the back-line. Owen will be joined by <strong>Abbie McKay<\/strong>, who will try her hand at playing on-ball this week. The daughter of Carlton Head of Football, <strong>Andrew McKay <\/strong>played a wonderful game in defence in round one, and will get to have a go in the midfield to demonstrate her great running ability.<\/p>\n<p>Oakleigh has sent\u00a0Carey Grammar&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Charlotte Moon\u00a0<\/strong>into defence this week. The 183-cm recruit played up forward in round one, and will be hoping to intimidate her opponents with her height at Healesville Sporting Complex. Blackburn product, <strong>Gemma Lagioia\u00a0<\/strong>retains her spot on the wing after a stellar performance in round one. Molan will get to try her hand on the half-forward flank, and will be hoping to trouble the Geelong defenders with her own defensive smarts. However, AFLW Academy member, <strong>Georgia Clarke <\/strong>will not be joining Molan in the forward-line, after being named as the centre half-back in the Rebels&#8217; round-two side.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Falcons will be hoping to continue their great start to the season by sending captain,\u00a0<strong>Lucy McEvoy\u00a0<\/strong>back into defence, after trying her hand in the forward-line last week. McEvoy did a great job inside 50 in round one, but will be more at home in a position that earned her a spot in the 2017 TAC Cup Girls Team of the Year.
