It was not looking like a close contest at three quarter time as the Blues led by 28 points with a quarter to play. Kicking with the breeze, the Magpies stormed home to boot 7.0 to 2.3, falling short by the smallest of margins. The accuracy on goal was the reason Glenorchy kept in the game, kicking a remarkable 13.2 from 15 scoring shots. Ben Kamaric<\/strong> booted three goals and was named the Magpies’ best, while Jay Blackberry<\/strong> booted two for the winners and was the Blues’ top player.
