Earlier tomorrow, the Allies will face Western Australia for third spot on the table. The interstate sides have made two changes each, with Western Australia forced to make three and in the process, flew\u00a0<strong>Wil Hickmott<\/strong>\u00a0to Victoria for the game. Vic Metro has named an extended bench for it\u2019s clash with the Croweaters.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ALLIES V. WESTERN AUSTRALIA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, July 4, 2.10pm<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Etihad Stadium<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Allies and Western Australia head into this match with a win over Vic Country each, and looking to cement third spot for the carnival. Overall, the Allies have been in better form, going down to Vic Metro by just two points, and leading South Australia at half-time before being overrun in the second half. Western Australia was smashed by South Australia and had a competitive effort against Vic Metro, but will go into the clash as underdogs, especially considering star player\u00a0<strong>Ian Hill<\/strong>\u00a0is out through suspension. Joining him as the outs are\u00a0<strong>Damon Greaves<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Thomas Baldwin<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 both of whom are injured. The two carry-over players in the 25-man squad,\u00a0<strong>Luke Moore<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Ethan Hansen<\/strong>\u00a0come into the side, as well as Wil Hickmott who performed strongly in the WAFL on the weekend and has been flown in as Hill\u2019s replacement. Both sides head into the clash relatively fresh, with\u00a0<strong>Isaac Quaynor<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Ben Silvagni<\/strong>\u00a0both returning from injury, while\u00a0<strong>Joe Griffiths<\/strong>\u00a0is the only forced change.\u00a0<strong>Xavier Fry<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Alastair Richards<\/strong>\u00a0both played on the weekend as a sign they were omissions from the Metro side, while bottom-ager\u00a0<strong>Ryan Gardner<\/strong>\u00a0is also out of the team. Despite sustaining an injury in the last match at the MCG,\u00a0<strong>Jack Bytel<\/strong>\u00a0has been named on an extended bench, with bottom-agers\u00a0<strong>Noah Anderson<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jack Mahony<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Matt Rowell<\/strong>\u00a0all named in the team with two to be cut.
