WITH both Geelong and the NT going down in recent weeks, the Victorian Football League (VFL) Women’s competition has been blown wide open. Collingwood is now the only undefeated side in the competition, but sides like Hawthorn are hot on their tails. To catch up, many teams have made some crucial changes to snatch a round nine victory.<\/p>\n

CASEY DEMONS v. SOUTHERN SAINTS<\/strong><\/p>\n Round 9 \u2013 07\/07\/2018 The Demons will take on the Saints this weekend in the first match of round nine. The Demons had a strong performance last week but are still to bring in some important new talent for this round. This includes former Vic Country Captain, Darcy Guttridge<\/strong>, who will return to the backline. Other ins include Eastern Rangers junior, Melanie Hogg<\/strong> who has been moved from the emergency list into the starting 22 for the first time this season. Jemma Turner<\/strong> will also pull on the blue and red jumper in her debut.
