BIG wins for Clarence and Launceston headlined the round of footy in the Tasmanian State League (TSL) Women’s. With only two rounds to go, Glenorchy has secured its spot at the top of the ladder despite having the bye this week. <\/span><\/p>\n

Clarence started this game slowly with only three goals in the first half, but Burnie started even slower, not scoring until the third quarter of the game. After this, the Roos kicked into gear, kicking nine goals in the second half to Burnie\u2019s one major. <\/span>Keeghan Smith <\/b>booted home three majors for the winners while <\/span>Jacinta Limbrick, Natalie Heggie <\/b>and <\/span>Hannah Scott <\/b>all contributed as well with two goals. Burnie\u2019s only goal came from <\/span>Isabella Henwood. <\/b>But the signs weren\u2019t all bad for the Dockers, with Tasmania Under 18 state representatives, <\/span>Chloe Haines, Libby Haines <\/b>and <\/span>Lauren Stevenson <\/b>being the best three players of the game. For Clarence, <\/span>Sophie Pennicott, Grace Mitchell, Jenna Farrow, Bella Goward, Darcy Elliston <\/b>and <\/span>Rachel Archer <\/b>performed well for their side in the 68-point win. <\/span><\/p>\n
