NEXT year\u2019s top talents will go head-to-head in a couple of Under-17 Futures matches at Ikon Park on Sunday, with both Victorian teams welcoming Queensland and New South Wales\/Australian Capital Territory (NSW\/ACT) in a big double header. In the first game, Vic Country takes on Queensland, before Vic Metro hosts NSW\/ACT.<\/p>\n

VIC COUNTRY V. QUEENSLAND<\/strong>

Ikon Park, Carlton<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Vic Country forward line will be one to watch with the likes of\u00a0Jye Chalcraft<\/strong>\u00a0(Murray Bushrangers),\u00a0Fraser Phillips<\/strong>and\u00a0Josh Smith<\/strong>\u00a0(Gippsland Power), and\u00a0Izaac Grant<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Mitch Martin<\/strong>\u00a0(GWV Rebels) potentially lining up inside 50. In defence, Bendigo\u2019s\u00a0James Schischka<\/strong>\u00a0and Dandenong\u2019s\u00a0Sam De Koning<\/strong>\u00a0will look to impress, while the likes of Geelong\u2019s\u00a0Keidan Rayner<\/strong>\u00a0and Gippsland\u2019s\u00a0Riley Baldi<\/strong>\u00a0will play through the midfield. Western Jets forwards\u00a0Emerson Jeka<\/strong>,\u00a0Steven Kyriazis<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Josh Honey<\/strong>\u00a0are accompanied by teammate\u00a0Darcy Cassar<\/strong>through midfield, while Eastern Ranges pair\u00a0Mitch Mellis<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Lachlan Stapleton<\/strong>, Northern Knights\u2019\u00a0Adam Carafa<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Josh D\u2019Intinosante<\/strong>\u00a0will also be key cogs through midfield. Calder Cannons\u2019\u00a0Daniel Mott<\/strong>\u00a0has been in strong form in the TAC Cup, as have defender and teammate\u00a0Brodie Newman<\/strong>, who will be back there alongside\u00a0Lachlan Potter<\/strong>, while Oakleigh\u2019s\u00a0Josh May<\/strong>\u00a0will likely line-up forward, and Sandringham duo\u00a0Hugo Ralphsmith<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Miles Bergman<\/strong>\u00a0have made the team.
