However, some vital changes are still being made going into Round 14, particularly in arguably the biggest clash of the weekend, when the two ladder-leaders, Collingwood and the NT Thunder go head to head. All in all, Round 14 is shaping up to be another exciting round for the Victorian Football League (VFL) Women\u2019s Competition.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>CASEY DEMONS v. MELBOURNE UNI<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Round 14 \u2013 Saturday, August 11,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>11:30AM<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Casey Fields, Cranbourne<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Round 14 kicks off at Casey Fields with the Casey Demons taking on Melbourne University. Coming off a strong Round 13 performance, the Demons have kept changes to a minimum, bringing in three players. Former Vic Country skipper,\u00a0<strong>Darcy Guttridge<\/strong>\u00a0will be a welcome addition to the team alongside\u00a0<strong>Jemma Turner<\/strong>\u00a0and debutant,\u00a0<strong>Amy Dunn<\/strong>. The Gippsland Power co-captain, who is currently balancing Year 12 and her football career, will be an exciting addition to the Demons\u2019 side and comes in as the 23rd player this week. Gippsland teammate,\u00a0<strong>Emily Haeusler<\/strong>\u00a0and AFLW forward,\u00a0<strong>Aliesha Newman<\/strong>\u00a0have been named out.<\/p>\n<p>Returning from their Round 13 bye, the Mugars will be hoping to secure a few more wins before the season\u2019s end. With the home ground advantage on their side and top spot up for grabs, the Pies have made plenty of changes to suit. AFLW duo,\u00a0<strong>Eliza Hynes<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Nicole Hildebrand<\/strong>\u00a0have been named to take to the field amongst many others.\u00a0<strong>Grace Buchan, Katelyn Lee, Stacey Livingstone, Paige Nash, Shayla Marsh<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Nicole Hales\u00a0<\/strong>and Gippsland Power ruck,\u00a0<strong>Jasmine Ferguson<\/strong>\u00a0have also all been selected to play. Ahead of the game, the Cats have made four changes, bringing in\u00a0<strong>Laura Taylor<\/strong>\u00a0and<strong>\u00a0Isabel Currenti<\/strong>. Geelong has also selected two debutants for the match in Vic Country duo,\u00a0<strong>Nina Morrison<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Olivia Purcell<\/strong>. The pair impressed in this year\u2019s TAC Cup Girls competition as part of the Geelong Falcons\u2019 premiership team, and will look to continue to impress when they take to the field this weekend.
