The Warriors will face the Southern Districts while in other games, Wanderers will take on Pint, Nightcliff goes head-to-head against Palmerston and Tracy Village does battle against Darwin. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>WARATAH V SOUTHERN DISTRICTS <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Round 2- Saturday October 13, 10.30am<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>TIO Stadium <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Waratah will play its first game of the season against Southern Districts on Saturday. The Crocs escaped with a narrow win against Darwin last round, with <\/span><b>Lateesha Jeffrey, Tahlia Holtze <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Tayla Thorn <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">leading the way. The reigning premiers will make it hard for the Southern Districts to make it two from two, as 2017\/18 Waratah leading goal kicker, <\/span><b>Sue Nalder <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0could face her NT Thunder teammates. <\/span><b>Madeline Gault <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">could also have a big impact on the game if she plays, as she can also get among the goals. Holtze will need to kick a couple of majors to combat the Warriors\u2019 hunger to defend their title. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>WANDERERS V PINT <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Round 2- Saturday October 13, 6pm <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>TIO Oval No. 2<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pint comes into this game with the momentum, having secured a thrilling three-point win against Palmerston in Round 1. Wanderers, on the other hand, are coming off a loss to open their 2018\/19 campaign, and will be hungry to get back on the winner\u2019s list. <\/span><b>Kristen Smits <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">led the way in goals for the Queen Ants last round and will be keen to kick another few majors to make it two from two for Pint. <\/span><b>Erin Hetherington <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will also be looking to put in another big game for her side. <\/span><b>Keyona De Satge <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will be key for the Wanderers, with last year&#8217;s leading goal kicker getting on the board again in Round 1.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>NIGHTCLIFF V PALMERSTON MAGPIES <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Round 2- Sunday October 14, 10am <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>PSC BM Oval <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nightcliff and Palmerston are both coming off Round 1 losses, but on the opposite ends of the spectrum. The Tigers suffered a big loss against St Mary\u2019s while the Magpies fell three points short of Pint. Nevertheless, both sides will be eager to get their season back on track as PSC BM Oval. <\/span><b>Sophie Hatzismalis <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will need to put in another big game for the Tigers if they are to snag a Round 2 win. <\/span><b>Hannah Turnbull, Emma-Lou Wolsey <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Tayla Dando <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">would also want to back up their impressive Round 1 performances. But they\u2019ll have to come up against Northern Territory\u2019s AFL Women\u2019s Under 18 Most Valuable Player (MVP), <\/span><b>Janet Baird. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Baird had a great start for the Magpies last round and is unlikely to drop off in form. <\/span><b>Karlee King <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will also be a key player for the Magpies as they aim to secure their first win in the 2018\/19 season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>TRACY VILLAGE V DARWIN BUFFETTES <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Round 2- Sunday October 14, 12pm <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Tracy Village<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tracy Village comes into this game off a comfortable win against the Wanderers. The Buffettes on the other hand, will be hungry to bounce back from their close loss against Southern Districts. NT Thunder duo, <\/span><b>Machaelia Roberts <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Kylie Duggan <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will again be key for Darwin, with Roberts putting in a best-on-ground performance in Round 1 and Duggan kicking a goal.
