The Cats recruited most of their players off their own Victorian Football League (VFL) Women\u2019s list, and come into the competition with a wealth of experience already. The most talked about player have of course been TAC Cup Best and Fairest and AFL Women\u2019s Under 18 Championships Most Valuable Player (MVP), <\/span><b>Nina Morrison. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Morrison is a likely number one pick and will end up at Geelong either way, having nominated to stay in her hometown. She could be joined by Geelong Falcons premiership teammate, <\/span><b>Olivia Purcell. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Purcell won the Falcon\u2019s Best and Fairest and will give the Cats some aggression and inside pressure in 2019, should she be selected. <\/span><b>Denby Taylor, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who was best on ground in the Falcons\u2019 premiership win, is another exciting player who has nominated to play in the blue and white hoops next year. Taylor proved her versatility in that match by shifting from her normal position in defence to playing on the wing. A player that is not from the Falcons but is just as good is <\/span><b>Rebecca Webster. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The AFL Women\u2019s Academy member has played for the Murray Bushrangers in the TAC Cup Girls and is able to rotate through defence and in the midfield. She\u2019s one who can break through congestion and clear space with great run and carry and long kicking.
